  • AND AGAIN

last week i sent out 4 envelopes each with 10 lots of h/b in each including points coupon.

And this week i have received 1 thanks from the 4 people that i sent vouchers out to.

i always put my name on the back of the envelopes so you have no excuse not to thank me.

But because of the actions of these 3 people and others in the past i will not be posting any h/b out to anyone else at my expense.

And today i got offered a full box of vouchers by the girl on the chemist at my tesco. She knows i like vouchers and goodie bags.
And she knew that the coupons expire next week.

I did think about taking them and posting them out but then again, i had a moneysaving moment. Don't buy the stamps.

    Cause you get no thanks.

That stinks, those people not thanking you for sending them coupons. I don't blame you for being peed off.

That's the spirit, a good way to take the board forward, refusing the option to help others. It's nice to get a thank-you but should not be the reason to give. Still you saved a few bob in stamps.

i hate to be the one to say it but the reason that saint chris is giving for not sending out vouchers... is WHY we are not meant to swap on mse... do it on www.paidtoshop.co.uk I do alot of swapping on there and have to keep all pms so i know who im sending to and who to thank! common curtesy is lovely but not always a given. xx

Same here, I have sent out loads of H & B all at my own expense and didn't get many thanks back, although I know at one point my pm box was full and maybe they couldn't get through. I don't think I will bother again although I hate to see them go to waste.

I was shattered after leaving the house at 5.30am and clocking on at 6am but it meant I could be home at lunchtime, so I finished at 1pm and off I went tescoing.

I got 3 lots of h&b using 1 x £2.50, 1 x £1.25 and 2 x £1.00 h&b, now I had discovered some unused £4 DM's by my PC which expired today so I also used them and when I got into work I cut out the Times vouchers from yesterday and the day before.

I bought some essentials and 2 lots of 6 gillette and 1 lot of dove and handwash - I also managed to use 18 x 50 pointers so was very pleased together with assorted points vouchers.

I have only got 4 x 50 pointers left so will be able to take my foot of the h&b toiletry gas pedal for awhile.

This time I have found the offers quite bland and hope that next time they do it they have some better products.

phrew... used up all the hb combos, tried the last 2 on johnson baby sun lotion £9.99 bogof, and all beauty and toiletry coupons went thro, so suncare is classified as both.

also used up all this week's newspaper mocs, i love the newspaper mocs, because OH likes reading newspaper and i can get them free throughout the week with a little bit extra towards the food. i even rolled up the old newspaper, tied them up with a rubber band and put two of them under the door as DIY draft excluder. moneysaver spirit, nothing will go to waste.

haven't venture into the magazine section yet but will read the thread and see what is worth to get.

still have quite a few healthcare ones to finish in the coming week, think i will go for the Go Low cereal bar, bit tired of omega oil capsules now, nice to have a change, but how does it taste? as long as it is not disgusting, i m not that picky.

I had the same reaction over on Paid to shop, I sent about 10 sets of coupons off to different people and 2 sent me a pm to say thanks, sometimes it feels like its not worth it but i am still going to give things away as at the end of the day, I would rather do that than throw them out unused.

I do sympathise with you though :)

Same here, I would rather send something off rather have it wasted but I would rather people send me an SAE if it is going to be a one sided swap.
When I do a mutual swap I always add a few bits and pices extra and tell people to add them to their swap list so everything goes around until its used up.
I am hoping to update my swaps list this weekend, nothing very exciting to add to it but I did a huge list a week ago which noone responded to so a few things I've had to ditch because its the end of the month, anyway look out for mhocs swaps

Yeah, they are ok. I wouldn't pay 99p for one, but for free they are ok... nutty/chewy & ingredients seem quite healthy. They are a handy price for rounding up Healthcare combos.

I've been buying 2 x Benadryl, 2 x Go lower bars & 1 single slimfast bar. Leaves just a few pence to pay after BOGOF's.

I am sorry for Ragtimeplayer. Sometime people forget about being grateful. I was sent some lots of vouchers and I smiled for a whole week! It was like opening an unnexpected present! I thanked the person who sent them to me to ther own cost. That is the least I could do.

I wish I could find some vouchers in my local T's and that they were accepted!

I also agree. I prefer to giveaway on pts but even then do not always get a thanks. The last lot I snet out 4 piles of vouchers and did not receive a thankd for any of it. I must say I find it better on pts as when I receive vouchers through swaps/giveaways I always respond by giving that person a rep point and leaving my name - and ragtime player was one of them ;)
