Has Anyone Else Had Trouble Using The £1 Health And Beauty Coupons Mine Were Refused By The Till On 3 Occasions Now

Have only ever had a few of the £1 coupons accepted. They are just for toiletries not beauty but the till often rejects them. I never want to draw attention to myself so just let it go rather than request the SA to put through manually
  • I'm having trouble using the £1 H&B coupon on anything... Tesco seem to be a bit unsure what Toiletry means, cos I've tried to use it twice now on bath/shower items with no success.

I managed to get 2 x 50 point coupons through tonight, but only cos the sa counted them as 1 or my 5 allowed coupons for items not bought.

I did 2 shops and saved a fair bit over all, as I used loads of newspaper coupons again. I got my daughter some make-up etc amounting to £10.96 and only paid £1.21 for it, so pleased with that.

I can only ever get 1 x Quit coupon through now and same for H&B, but managed to get 2 x H&B Healthcare and 1 x Quit Pack Healthcare through last night..it'd be much easier if you knew exactly what you could expect from the sa each time.

I wouldn't be able to mange the savings that Ragtimeplayer mentioned though, as my Tesco really are much more strict on coupons lately. I also noticed tonights sa was looking very closely at my newspaper coupons.. and I'm pretty sure I got stuck with a supervisor again. She was a bit grim too.. no way was she going to engage in friendly conversation. Best keep my head a bit lower I guess.. although the H&B are nearly expired now, so I guess I should be able to keep out of trouble for a bit.:D

    AND AGAIN

last week i sent out 4 envelopes each with 10 lots of h/b in each including points coupon.

And this week i have received 1 thanks from the 4 people that i sent vouchers out to.

i always put my name on the back of the envelopes so you have no excuse not to thank me.

But because of the actions of these 3 people and others in the past i will not be posting any h/b out to anyone else at my expense.

And today i got offered a full box of vouchers by the girl on the chemist at my tesco. She knows i like vouchers and goodie bags.
And she knew that the coupons expire next week.

I did think about taking them and posting them out but then again, i had a moneysaving moment. Don't buy the stamps.

    Cause you get no thanks.

I found 2 piles of the H&B that run out on 8/7 today on the pharmacy counter in Sale, Manchester yesterday. Typical they put them out with one week to go!

It's different items you have to look for rather than the same stuff all the time plus the free things you get are good for presents etc. I'm stocking up for xmas at the moment so I can use Boots plus they have better prices on the clearance stuff.

im a big fan of bootsting AND tescoing. Bootsing is a real adrelalin kick as you can pick up some lovely items for nothing and use them for prezzies. plus they seem to mess up thier offers and offer you rediculous points for not alot ;):) BUT tescoing is my evryweek sustainer of toiletries lol. Alot of my toiletries are now going to a womens refuge via my midwife :) shes going to do a monthly colection, :)
