My stores have gone 10% mad at the moment

So how do they explain the 2.50 off a £10 spend?!
I had a Sa the other day who told me she'd take 1 x 1.25 off a £10.xx shop! saying, 'we're not supposed to take any coupons' I pointed out that they were all Tesco coupons, produced by Tesco, and asked why they issued them if they wouldn't take them? She siad 'I don't know. I suppose its to encourage people to buy more'!! I pointed out it was defeating the purpose if they wouldn't accept them. Anyway, went and got them all refunded at CS.

I bought some items the other day, including a pan and a book that I intended using vouchers on so as to get them for virtually nothing. Young lad I always go to was replaced by a young girl, seconds before he served me!

She was unsure which vouchers she could take so called the Supervisor :(

Supervisor said you can only have 10% off your shopping, it came to £21 so she let £2.30 go through in vouchers.

I then asked the young girl to void the pan and book off and the total was then £7.69.

With £2.30 off in vouchers, this went down to £5.39, a little bit more than 10% off:rotfl:

Good for you:D Now why didn't I think of doing that yesterday when all my magazine Moc's were turned down? I could've kicked myself afterwards for not putting stuff back:mad:

Yes you can. The Colgate will work with most toothpastes, NOT just colgate. The Plax will ONLY work with Plax, we're all waiting for it to come on BOGOF again ;) . And the £1.25 off £5 will ONLY work if your total (before BOGOFs) is £5 or more. So have a look at the prices and offers on tesco.com and make up a list of what to get and you'll be fine :D .

I used the 1.00h&b voucher today on wipes! However, I wasn't allowed to use any other moc's. Miserable SA called over the supervisor, who was equally miserable. To cut a long story short, the manager came to speak to me. She said they couldn't take Moc's unless I'd bought the products. I told her I'd used them lots of times and they were accepted, but she wouldn't budge, so I paid up and left. I wish I'd stuck with the self-scan tills now, at least I knew I would get at least 20% off my bill, without any hassle from SA's. I won't be able to shop at that store again. They all know me now. If I use the selfscan tills they will watch my every move!! It's back to sainsbury's for a while!

I too had all my mocs refused in Tesco earlier this week, not by the SA, but bleeped when scanned. I am going to give it another go this evening, otherwise I too am off to Sainsburys for a while.

I must admit, I popped into Sainsburys to get my free quorn pieces yesterday, and it was somewhat refreshing not having to seek out the dopiest SA and worry about using vouchers. ;)
