talking of slimming I am still ploughing through the slimfasts we have here, the ones in the tin can are nicer than the new improved slimfast. In my stationery cupboard in my office I have a shelf full of them. Yesterday, however I was half way through a new type bottle and really thought I was going to be ill.

I have had 3 good shops today, between juggling the kiddies, work and visiting my parents.

First one, I was on the look out for the wipes, couldn't see any so was going to do 2 transactions of shower gel but then on the gondola end saw the wipes so got them. Moc's accepted fine, 50 pointers were queried with supervisor, who ok'd them - SA accepted them Ok (5 x 50) on the 1st transaction, then on 2nd transaction with the same items said she could only accept 2 x 50 pointers. I pointed out that I had bought the same as the previous transaction, so she took them.

Second shop, used alot of points vouchers and no wipes anywhere so got deodrants, and healthcare and then after visiting my parents

got home to tesco.com delivering my weekly shopping I spent £49 including delivery and got 1049 points which is a nice addition to my current totals.

Shame the current offers are abit boring though but the points are clocking up nicely - I have used 25 x 50 pointers today on several transactions

Welshy - what are you getting with your Healthcare vouchers? I need some inspiration! I could cope with the SlimFast offer and have now a cupboard full, but am stuck this week as what to use my Healthcare vouchers on without spending any/much money. I have been getting wipes too, they're nice and not only work on your face, they're great for wiping down a few tiles in the bathroom after the kids have brushed their teeth :D .

Hiya poundsinbucks  the healthcare I am not too bothered about, today I bought in 3 transactions:

    omega 3 pure fish oil 90 caps @ £3.98 on bogof and then a go lower coconut bar at 99p on bogof = £9.94 = minus bogof = £4.97 - then I gave the assistant a £2 quit and 2 x £1 healthcare meaning 97p to pay.

I did have some DMs book vouchers to use today so was a good shop.

Whilst on subject of vouchers - the 200 baby/toddler clothing scans without buying the clothing - although I did get a pair of 75p mitts and the wine club 50 points on any red wine, scans on the little bottles and cans.

my best bargain of the day was a huge bunch of flowers for mum which was reduced to £1.99 - the smile on her face when she got them - priceless.

    :hello: Hi Welshy...

I also have a cupboard full of slimfast......but the only one i can cope with is the coffee one.
In some ways i'm grateful the offer changed...it was becoming like the Krypton Factor trying to get them in the cupboard :D

WOW! @ getting 5 x 50 points through.........my store is very firmly sticking to the 1 per transaction *rule* (cough).........it's a right royal pain.

This week am going to concentrate on getting rid of all my newspaper coupons & the ones that expire at the end of June as well as working on getting through the extra points from the mailings (exp 08/7 as well). I could do with the desk space :D

for healthcare, i got footsprays and antiseptic liquid, either TCP liquid (went thro a whole bottle last week due to sore throat) or Dettol (go thro rather quick as use in laundry), they r both just above £1ish.

just used the footspray today and it leaves white marks on feet, slightly unsure about it.

is it normally hard to get the points vouchers put on then?

I used 9 in one shop last week and he never even mentioned anything, i wanted to use 10 but the till beeped so no go :D

One other thing, went to tesco today and noticed on my receipt that my points total had jumped from 2 days ago when it was 800 odd and todays receipt says 1600 odd, not complaining :p but wonder why that is?

I can only get 1 x 50 point coupon through on a transaction too and tonight only got 1 x Quit Pack through on a £11.99 spend, where 2 went through before. I think I struck unlucky with the Quit Pack though as pretty sure I got some kind of supervisor :(

I can't really complain though, cos she let me use coupons on 3 shops and my Omega Serum at £11.99 only cost me £1.99. :D

I shifted lots of newspaper coupons tonight too and got a great deal on Kodak 6x4 photo paper [£16.94] which were on BOGOF and then got coupons off as well... paying £9.69 for 2 packs of the Premium Paper.
