Since I have had my hair cut from shoulder length to a short more manageable length I do believe the couponing energy has been drained from me and I have not done any h&b shops in the last 3 days ! gosh I must be slipping hoping to do some tomorrow but sounds like some of the vouchers aren't being accepted ?

I too had all my mocs refused in Tesco earlier this week, not by the SA, but bleeped when scanned. I am going to give it another go this evening, otherwise I too am off to Sainsburys for a while.

I must admit, I popped into Sainsburys to get my free quorn pieces yesterday, and it was somewhat refreshing not having to seek out the dopiest SA and worry about using vouchers. ;)

Could be the sa hasn't activated something on the till. I had the same problem last week but I know it was because the young guy didn't know what he was doing.

Peach H&B still worked ok today for me. Bought 4 of the Scholl footspray @ £1.98 BOGOF, plus aspirin @ 14p to take it over £8 :D . Used Healthcare £1 off £4 x2 from H&B and £2 off £8 from Quit Kit. Bought daily groceries too, a Times for the £2.70 coup ;) , and nice SA took 2 coups in addition to the Tesco ones. That was today's policy ;) .

Will try again tomorrow. My £6 off £30 are on elastic this week, am hoping for someone tomorrow on the tills who will not READ the coupons ;) .

Quit Kits have disappeared from my store now which is slightly annoying, have run out of the £1.25 ones! Will get Healthcare stuff next few days instead of Beauty & Toiletries.

I had mixed success today in Tesco.
Did four seperate shops, 3 good and 1 semi good :)

One thing I realised after my first shop is that the following combination will give you exactly £2.23 off your other shopping as long as you use these vouchers.

Items to buy are the £2.48 toothbrushes which are on bogof at the moment, plus a 21p basic toothpaste to take the total over £10 (before bogof comes off).

If you have the quit pack and the health and beauty vouchers, you are in luck :)

    I bought 4 x £2.48 toothbrushes = £4.96 (bogof)
    1x basic tesco toothpaste = 21p

    total £5.17 to pay

    I used :

    1x 40p Colgate voucher

(you don't have to buy Colgate, works on any toothpaste)

    2x £1.25 from Quit pack

    2x £1 from Health & Beauty pack

    1x £2.50 from Health & Beauty pack

Total off your shopping is £7.40

This works out as £2.23 off your other shopping every time :)

I went in twice and bought all the above as well as a £3.73 book of my choice and 2 tins of dog food at 0.69p each.

Total for all to pay was £2.88 and I handed him one of the £2.70 vouchers from yestedays Times and had a grand total of 18p to pay :D

I'm working overtime tomorrow but if I get into the office for 6am (leave home at 5.30am) work from 6 until lunch-time I can earn at least £340 before tax which will help towards the extension costs. Then by finishing early I can pop into Tescos on the way home to use up my 50 pointers and get some toiletries. DD1 likes the wipes and I may get some more deodrants.

Then I will still be home in time for gymnastics/dance lessons for the kiddies.

One other thing I realised (don't you wish you could rewind time?) is that its no good going to the self scan when you have a load of Hb and Quit vouchers. The till seems to beep after the very first one

If I could have rewound time, I wouldn't have gone to the self scan and then had to go to CS and get a refund after the till scanner helper man only let me use 1 £1 off against my £10 worth of toiletries!

Best to stick with the young lads if possible :)
