Can i please ask. When using the H&B tokens, can I use my £2.50 and £1 token together in the same transaction? Can I buy items that are 2 for £3 for example like the Johnsons face wipes and still get the total amount i.e. £2.86 per pack towards my total? Many thanks. (I bought a few vouchers of ebay recently and better use them up quickly.)

Thanks for all your replies. I'll keep an eye on the BOGOFs and see what I can do. I look forward to seeing what Tesco 'leave out' when the H&B vouchers expire on the 8th.
Sometimes I just feel like handing over all my odd coupons to the cashier to see if any come off. Does anyone do this? I had loads of those Blue clothing vouchers, but they didn't go through the till as I hadn't bought any clothes!

    Hello & welcome :)

Usually,if Mr T is true to form, there should be a white £2 of £8 spend out either this week (thursday onwards) or next week. These will combine with the quit kits.
Vouchers are normally released on a 6-8 week cycle so it won't be long before another lot comes along :)
Yes, i sometimes hand over a mixed bunch of coupons together with a vacant look saying *could you see if any of these will scan please......i never know what the till will accept*:o

And no...the blue ones will only work if you buy clothes....we have a seperate thread for that.....look for *Clothes Coupon Thread*

It's also worth joining at www.paidtoshop.co.uk there you can join in with the chat & also swap any coupons you've manged to pick up..........sometimes people can only get 1 type & swap with others to get the other type.

Posters have been in trouble for swapping on MSE before..

We've all been new at some stage so don't be shy of asking questions........you might find it helpful to read the whole thread too, just do a few pages at a time (as it is quite long LOL )

Simply....Yes. Voucher combining is possible with a willing SA.

Although face wipes are *beauty* i believe not *toiletry* so the £1 toiletry won't work.

Yesterday i bought 2 hair dyes on offer 2 for £9.50 along with 2 Johnsons shower and shave cremes £1.09 each, i used 1 x £2.50, 2 x £1 H&B, and 2 £1.25 QP, the till wouldn't accept any of the H&B vouchers, it only accepted the 2 QP vouchers. Is hair dye not included in the health and beauty catagory?

    Hair dye comes under Toiletries.
  • yesterday i bought some wrinkle cream, and 3x 21p toothpaste to make it up to a tenner. till took the toothpaste vouchers but nothing else. i was all set to go to CS when realised the wrinkle cream had not scanned  i think it would have been free anyhow, effectively £7.57 off and 50 points if i'm correct?

Is there a list somewhere on this thread, of what is classed as toiletry, healthcare and beauty? As I would have thought hair dye was beauty as well...

    Thanks,

If you look at tesco.com you can get an idea how tesco categorize their items. It helped me when planning what do to with my Healthcare vouchers. I ended up getting 4x Scholl footspray @ £1.98 BOGOF plus some aspirin for 14p, handed over 2x £1 off £4 and 1x £2 off £8 Healthcare coups and paying pennies.

    Hope this helps :D .

I found a bit more spare H&B vouchers in the drawer! I can send them in 3 lots if you PM me your address - unless you want less. (sorry all points are used up only £2.50 and £1 ones left)

they expire on 8th July. I will send them 1st class tomorrow. Please include your address on the first PM so I don't have to keep e-mailing back for details

I found a new product to get with the health vouchers: the Altu cereal bars (3 packs), £2.59 and BOGOF. Today I got 2x Altu bar packs and 4x Go Lower bars (99p BOGOF), and used £2 and 2x £1 vouchers, which left me with 57p to pay (this was part of a bigger shop though).

I was quite happy with that, as I don't need any other healthcare really :D

Don't know what the Altu bars are like, but they sound quite nice (and healthy). I vaguely remember getting a freebie Altu bar from the Freebies board ages ago, but can't remember what it was like. :D Only large Extras stock these, though.
