I'm new to first direct and I was just wondering if they had anywhere where they put the available balance of your account? There's a little help button explaining available funds but I can't find an available funds but on my account which seems odd?

Thanks in advance if anyone can help

  • I've come from using Nationwide and LloydsTSB online banking to First Direct and I was a little bit taken aback at how incredibly basic FD's online banking is by comparision.

I guess I'll live with it given the other benefits of having a bank account with them, but it just seems so featureless and ugly to navigate.

What exactly can you do on Lloyds IB that you can't do on FD? For one, you can't send online messages to Lloyds

Click on "make a payment" on your account, it will show what funds are available.
