Here's the response to my message about the loss of the sort by last paid function on the Direct Debits list. It definitely seems worth other customers sending a message with their comments.
    Re: Payments

Thank you for your message dated 18-Apr-2013.

I am sorry to hear that you do not like the recent changes we have made to online Payments and Standing Orders and Direct Debit functions.

These changes have been made as part of the on-going upgrade to our online services and in conjunction with customer feedback. We have redesigned these functions to make it easier to manage payments online.

We appreciate your comments and would like to thank you for your feedback. Your message has been passed to the relevant department who are monitoring customer comments on the changes.

Once again please accept my apologies for any inconvenience which may have been caused.

Please contact us if you require anything further.

    Regards

If they want to make me leave all they will need to do is introduce the silly secure key thing that hsbc have done for internet banking.

TBH they are already loosing me as a mortgage customer by no longer offering a 5 year fixed offset product so there is a good chance my current account will go soon too - most of the DDs have already gone to a Santander 1-2-3.

I'm sure they'll be gutted. I'm also sure that they don't "want" to make you leave - so am wondering why you sound so angry with what appears to be YOUR DECISION to leave?

Agree with a previous poster - some people are never happy.

FD have a good feedback form on the secure internet banking site so how about posting feedback on there rather than !!!!!ing about it on here?

Have a look on their lab section, I'm sure some of the folks on there are professional gripers, some even just whine about them featuring pinterest for longer than a month.

Anytime a complex system is changed there will be bugs and stuff some folks aren't happy with but credit where it is due, it is much improved and they have said the project is ongoing.

Let's face it we employ them first and foremost to look after our hard earned and they don't do a bad job of that and provide excellent service when human intervention is required.

Yes I got the same message when I send them a secure text. I have used the facility for editing payees this weekend as I had two birthdays and sent payments via first direct. It adds them as a new payee when you alter wording.

  • I sent them some feedback via a secure message.

Well Just got a call of FD regarding the lack of ability to sort DD's and SO's

Changes to stay I'm afraid but fair play to them personally contacting me regarding the issue

Oh well time to move on. I feel a little embarrassed tbh

You are really going to move banks just because you can't sort DDs and SOs?
