Come on people, the OP clearly didn't choose these headphones, and is just trying to find the best way to not offend the person who bought them while maintaining their personal safety.

Being told that their headphones are crap doesn't really help does it?

True, but that could have been answered in one post - just don't wear them in public places. Problem solved.

I think everyone realises he didn't buy them, but there's no reason we can't have a laugh at people who buy this kind of product and get sucked into ridiculous fashion trends.

Well moneysaving tip if you're planning on using Beats with an Android phone, and so getting one of the Beats enabled phones (e.g. HTC Sensation XL)

Get any old phone and any old headphones, root the phone, install AwesomeBeats or BeatsEQ = same result.

....and when you drive down the road, you can't hear the 44 tonne articulated lorry that's about to flatten your cherished motor with you inside.

wearing headphones whilst driving is as dangerous (if not more so) as using a mobile phone whilst driving and should be a specific offence.

I take the bus to work and walk home as it's only 2.5 miles via Chiswick and Turnham Green......
  • I dont have a set of Beats headphones, but a nice pair of Bowers and Wilkins P5's.

I only ever wear them at work or at home, never on the bus or walking around, got some cheapo in ear headphones for that!

A mate of mine wears his everywhere and even bought a bag to carry them around in..

Although saying that.. Beats are the current trending headphone, a lot of folk don't seem to know who Bowers and Wilkin's are...

    So yeah..you wearing a set of Mug-me-headphones ;)
:exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!

The P5 have the advantage of sounding reasonable (but not brilliant) for the money.
I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.
