I'm not part of a union.

I drive slowly over them - can't drive around them unfortunately.

I just wondered, "If I end up with a damaged car where do I stand legally?"

no where, you're driving on private land, unless there is an agreement in place where the landowners are responsible for maintaining a surface with no potholes - you are choosing to park there

    But I work there D:

If I park in town and walk across them and hurt myself would it be a different situation? (I'm not actually going to do that as the nearest place to park is pretty far)

My first impression is that that land is a waste area being used to park cars rather than an actual car park

If you think it is that treacherous, I would suggest not walking across it.
Failing that, just resign and go and work somewhere with a better car park.

That doesn't look too bad, you should see our lane, now that has potholes and I have banned any VW group cars from being bought by the family because the sump wouldn't last a week. :rotfl:

Having said that a digger and a couple of hours work would soon smarten it up for a bit.

Yes unfortunately even if I don't park in it I have to walk across which is just as hazardous.

Make sure you 'trip' and have caused physical problems preventing you from working and put in a fat claim.

Guarantee the carpark will be as smooth as a chinese motorway next week.

Or the employer goes for the cheaper option and shuts the car park.
