I hope and pray to whatever higher power there is that this little girl is found alive and well and the people or person who took her are brought to justice, but I also feel her parents should be charged with negligence as soon as they come back to the UK.:: No Unauthorised Links in Signatures please - FM ::0

Just wait and see, they'll be getting an audience with the Pope next. I'm sorry but the hypocrisy of this story is beginning to make me sick!0 -
I have every sympathy with the parents although I can't understand their thinking on the safety of leaving three tots alone, but I must admit I felt a bit uncomfortable yesterday watching them walking around a bit like celebrities. I understand they want to stay in the news for Madeleine's sake but I can't see how that visit to the shrine was so high on their list as to finding Madeleine.Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)

I really feel for the mcanns but at the same time think they were negligent in leaving their 3 kids alone.I don't think madeleine is alive, and i can't understand how they can leave their twins in the kids club at the complex right now for hours on end.I know this sounds critical, and my heart does go out to them, but if one of my kids had gone missing, the others wouldn't be leaving my side for a very long time:rolleyes: "You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

They are trying to find Madeleine but they are not the police, they cannot personally find her, they can only raise awareness. They need to do *something* whilst waiting for news so they went to the shrine for some prayer - it is a well known site in Portugal known amongst those who believe in miracles to be a positive place. Again, if they didn't do something with their time they would be criticized for doing 'nothing' and if they do do something with their time (even praying) they are criticized. If they took their twins with them they would be criticized for exposing them to the media etc. If they leave them at the resort being cared for, they are criticized for leaving them alone.MFW #185

At home they have a nanny and my impression of all this is that they really didn't know how to deal with having children around when they wanted to have a good time. When on holiday my kids are with me in the evening and if not it means my husband and I take it in turns to stay with them on an evening. The Mcanns are probably so used to handing them over to a nanny it just did not occur to them that a family holiday means spending time with your kids not your mates.
Sadly, this is probably very true...

Ben's mother must live in my county as she was on my local tv news, apparently she is going to KOS to look for her son who was taken 16 years ago from a farmhouse, apparently she is footing the expenses for the trip.
Maybe someone with the technical expertise could set up a website for her, my guess is that her need is just as great as the McCanns7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0
