    You're all a lot further ahead than me! I started a new job a few months ago and haven't had a great deal of time to get wedding stuff done, plus my fianc! is doing loads of uni applications at the moment so that's taking up all his time.

    I'm not planning on sending invitations until mid-December as I thought I'd save on stamps and send them with Christmas cards. I don't think the caterer needs final numbers til a couple of weeks beforehand so an RSVP of the end of Feb should work fine. I'm going to print them myself with a design I found online so need to get cracking on finding card and envelopes.

    I still need to order the bridesmaid dresses, find a hair and make-up lady (I've emailed two now but had no reply), work out how to heat the gazebo, choose the food, book the guys' suits, decide where to go on honeymoon, choose the readings and who to do them, choose my shoes, veil and jewellery etc. etc. There's probably loads more too I've not even thought of!

    Plus my job is going to get a lot busier after Christmas. Better get moving!

    Thanks for making me feel so much better!! Everyone seems so organised and I read your post and thought - thank god it's not just me that's still got lots to do! Hoping to get a move on with finishing making the invites in between Christmas and New Year. Literally don't have the time before!!
    Since starting again after beanie: June 2016: Child development DVDs, Massive Attack tickets. July: Aberystwyth trip, hotmilk nightie. Aug: £10 Hipp Organic vouchers, powerpack. September: Sunglasses. October: £30 poundland vouchers.

    Hopefully you are buying a dress off the peg as when you order a dress it usually takes up to 6 months you have 3 months left.

    My invites have gone out and rsvp's are back for 5th of January.

    Have you sorted flowers, rings, registra, decorations, dj, food, bridesmaids dresses (if your having any)

    Steph xx

    Hi! I haven't posted for awhile but it's getting close now! Eeeek! OH is going suit shopping in 2 weeks which is the only big thing left to organise then it's paying for everything else and having hair/makeup trials and not freaking out! I will also be moving about a month before the big day to add to it all! Hope everything is going well for you all.

    Pretty much all RSVPs are back except a few stragglers so nearly sorted. There has been a few family members who haven't been very nice about things but I've now taken the stance that if you don't want to come to one of the most important dAys of my life then you can't be that important to me.

    Daisy xx :j

    Oh sh*t. I haven't even ordered the cards to make our invites yet, let alone sent them out and had replies...

    :eek::eek::eek::mad:

    Ok, now I'm starting to really stress. Don't think I'll be sleeping much tonight :(

    Thank you Daisy you have cheered me up this morning, OH's nan has decided she can't come because she doesn't want to leave the dog. You are totally right she isn't important anymore.

    Oh my gosh I can't believe that she actually went through with it Steph. How rude - and her loss! Hugs x

    TBH I am livid, picking her dog over her grandson. Well I've already decided I'm not going to her house ever again and if she does send us a wedding present it's going back to her. Just looking for an evening guest we can bump up who will be grateful to be invited :)

    xx
