Sorry to hear about your problems with Egg. Has something happened to make them take you to court. I only ask as I am with them and so far they have been OK. Panicking a bit now. Hope everything goes OK Tuesday. Fingers will be crossed for you.
Good luck

Yellow monkey - They had been ok with me since april, but then decided to take me to court to go for a CCJ. When I spoke to the cccs they said that it's because EGG have so many people on these debt plans that some of them they call in for a CCJ so I think I was just one of the unlucky ones!!! It could also be that my debt is about £20k.

HI Scared,
Good luck for Tuesday from me too, please let us know how you get on.
I am sure it will be a formality as you have been consistently paying the debt and the court cant award them any more than they already get. Keep you chin up!LBM: March, 2005

the whingeing strikes again, DS at his dads last night. I ended up stressing about xmas and everything, convinced myself we were going to be evicted and cried for over two hours.
However am feeling better this morning, still very unsure of things, but am going to call cccs and ask to reduce payment to them so that I can pay off rent arrears faster. They did say that rent arrears are a priority so shouldnt be a problem hopefully.A smile costs nothing to give but enriches those it is given to!:D

I have three accounts with Lloyds and did my own DMP - all of them are suspended interest now and accepted payments. But it did take them ages I would strongly recommend only contacting them by post as the right hand does not know the left hand exists, if they make that mistake in letter you can almost blackmail them into accepting which is what I did in the end.
I changed my phone number for free before entering my DMP just told family I was getting strange phone calls, best thing I have ever done!0 -
Good morning all,
Scared, just wanted to send best wishes for Tuesday. Hope the courts just let you keep to your original payment.
Madrocks, I'm going into 3rd month with DMP and have Egg, accepted reduced payments and stopped interest, as long as I keep to these should be fine. I have just over 5K debt wih them. Northern Rock was a big huddle to overcome, lots of phone calls initially, but to their credit, once received payment and E&I was the first to accept DMP, have loan with them balance 18k. Lloyds tsb, still giving DMC hassle, but not been in contact with me directly, just alls of their computer generated letters i.e. adding on interest. Hopefully someone will be able to tell you about Capital one and Tesco. Good luck and keep posting!Long Hauler No: 51
