Then we had freebie tickets for Donnington on Sunday but spent 3 hours parked on the M1 - anyone ever seen several people weeing on the M1 - kids were devastated when we told them had to turn back it was just silly waiting like that.
For us it was the M6 - on our way to North wales on holiday. Stopped off to visit people in Birmingham then though we only had 2 hours drive left and should get there by 5pm to make tea and look around etc.... half past 8 we got there!!!
Thankfully we had all stopped and used the loo at Birmingham so it wasn't too desprate being stuck for 3 hours - complete standstill!!
Just worked out all my currently balances and debt is falling steadily now - 6 months ago I never thought that would happen. Such a relief. Especially with all the talk of interest rates going up etc - knowing that only one is charging interest (1% above base rate so not too bad) is a huge relief.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

Hey All,
Sorry haven't been around. I received my CCCS Welcome Pack over the weekend with the TransCash slip for my first payment.. actually I received 2 welcome packs for some reason lol - better than none I guess
Had my first message from a creditor.. Smile sent me a message saying that they thought they'd let me know that I missed my Visa Credit Card Payment.. Minimum Due is £452.. normally £166 lol.. They took the £166 from my credit card as payment for August.. this put me over my credit limit and I have been charged heavily.. Crazy.. its daylight robbery!
Hope everyone is well.0 -
Hi WorriedMart

Hey,
If you posted the agreement off today I reckon you will get the Welcome Pack on Saturday or Monday. It took about 5 working days for ours to come.
Plenty of time for an October start0 -
Thanks for replying. I just want to get started now that we have decided to go with this but am not looking forward to dealing with all our creditors!

I know how you feel mate. Have you missed any payments through September yet? I've missed all mine and sent token payments of £5 to each.. so kinda feels like I am already getting going. My first DMP Payment is also October.
I think ours is just shy of 12 years.. As long as we can afford to live during that time, thats the main thing :T0
