I'll second the GfK ones being a bit complex.

I've got one where I have to 'do' a particular person in quite a large store. The description is quite vague so I've got no idea how I'm going to find said person without looking too suspicious or having to come up with loads of other queries to ask just incase I get near enough to see the badge and find I'm not with the right person - if you know what I mean...

Anyone else got any tips on how to do these?? I don't normally feel nervous as I've been doing this a while now but I think this one might have me stumped![/quote

You could always phone the store first and ask to speak to this person, ask a question something to do with the ms you will be doing, like if its about gaming or something you could ask about if a products in stock or something. then when you go into store you can ask for that person as you have already spoke to them.

    hope that might help.

Thanks for the tip. Thankfully this one is out of the way now. I did have to go back on two separate days though to 'get' my person as I couldn't find her on the first trip and she may have been not working that day as the brief didn't state which midweek day was her day off! It was quite stressful and I had to ask a few other queries to be able to get close enough to other people to check out their badges. I don't think I'd be going for one of those again but getting someone to ring before would at least get you to know the person was working that day.

I notice GRG have taken the times posted and taken off their lists now. Must have got fed up with the 'by the time you'd  mailed me about it the job had already been taken' mails.

Am hunched over the site today waiting for something to pop up!

Redcar send 'em another complaint, they must be building up a small forest's worth of emails by now from us lot!

The problem is they don't care if shoppers 'resign' as there will always be one person in 99% of the areas who will happily take the crappy jobs!

I love it when they phone up and they are desparate LOL;)

Yes, Gap rang me desperate for me to do a coffee one at Bluewater at the weekend.

I said "Bluewater at the weekend? You must think I'm mad!!"

But they made it worth my while ... VERY worth my while actually ... so I did it and was actually in and out of the centre within 30 minutes :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

  • hi all, still not a sausage from GR in the last few weeks!!! But I did sign up with Bare and nominated myself for a group assign of internet brochure shops, now, do they tell you if they give the job to someone else? As it has not appeared anywhere on my log etc and I have not heard from them via email either! I know they give jobs out to those with more experience etc nut just wondered if/when I would from them :)

    Thanks

  • I literally just logged onto GR and there were 7 jobs available, all at the "Bottom Slapping" supermarket. I selected one, got accepted for it, went back to get another in my area ... and they had all gone!

Still, I got one, so I'm happy

  • Some nice hotel ones on RE at the moment. Right at the bottom of the "Assignments in other areas" list. They've been there a few days so I'm guessing people aren't bothering to scroll down to the bottom of the page!

Overnight stay with room service, dinner & breakfast

Shame I've got kids to worry about or else I'd be off!!!!!
