Yes, there is a premium, but I still can't click to accept it because it is all yellowed out.

Sorry Sarah, I will ask them then. I thought this thread was for queries like this. Sorry.

I think I have the answer to this query, which was asked a long time ago and I've been experimenting with in the mean time. ;)

AFAIK the assignments are yellowed out (for premium assignments), or greyed out (for ordinary assignments) if they are in the middle of being processed. When you put assignments into your basket they go grey, so it may be that the assignment is in another shopper's basket, or that GAP are processing it in some other way.

If you do get an answer from GAP, do let us know! The best time to ask is when they are on the phone begging you - but of course I never remember then!

  • How much do you get paid for these jobs? Or does it vary?

I've just received an e-mail from one of the companies, grassroots which was recommended on here asking for my bank information like account number, sort code etc.....I'm just wondering if I should provide these details! Of course I know this will be only way they could pay me....
Any1 got any experiences with the company?

    Cheers Ears:confused:

    lol thanks Timmne.

I have asked them about it and am waiting for a reply. I just can't work it out - tried everything, but just can't find any way of accepting the assignment.

And I still can't find McDonalds surveys - maybe they are only there sometimes.

Dunno if this helps but I can't accept assignments on ABAI if I'm using Firefox, I have to switch to Internet Explorer to do it. (At least I did till this morning when I found a Firefox add-in that gets round the problem.:T)

    Jayneuk,

Is the Assignment already in your basket? The only time I've seen them greyed out on mine is when i've added one and gone back to look for others before i've gone through the 'checkout' bit. Have a look in your basket just incase.

No, nothing in my basket :-( Really weird isn't it - it's still yellowed out and they haven't come back to me with an answer yet. Typical it's the only survey in my area!

Have you been with Gap a while, I think it's something like 3 months you have to be with them before they offer you that firm - you can have any in my area!! Yuck!

Arh, that will be it then. I'm new, so that explains it. Thank you very much.

Will just wait for something in my area then.

Thanks for the tip. Thankfully this one is out of the way now. I did have to go back on two separate days though to 'get' my person as I couldn't find her on the first trip and she may have been not working that day as the brief didn't state which midweek day was her day off! It was quite stressful and I had to ask a few other queries to be able to get close enough to other people to check out their badges. I don't think I'd be going for one of those again but getting someone to ring before would at least get you to know the person was working that day.

Hi redcar, I had a similar one today prob the same company & there were 3 people on the counter, so had to peer at their chests to find the right person (just as well I'm not a bloke, I might have been done for harrassment).

I'd been there about 5 mins, when the person who should have approached me to serve me, said right I'm finishing at 5 today & off she popped! I've just re-scheduled the job for tomorrow and hope I can catch her tomorrow. I did hear her say she was starting at 11 tomorrow and seeing as they've got a "shopping event" tomorrow night I'm hoping she'll be around tomorrow after I finish work and not be popping off at 5 again!

Did you just re-schedule? That's what I've done.
