Can anyone tell me what it means on gapbuster when the assignment is sort of blanked out. It's there but not there if you know what I mean - I can click on the assignment details, but cannot choose dates or accept it. Anyone know please?

Is this when it's grey? I asked GAP once and they said it's because they're updating the available dates the assignment can be done....

    :)

Well, it isn't grey, it's yellow - but maybe it's the same thing. Thank you.

I can't find any McDonalds surveys? Been hearing so much about them lol. Where are they hiding?
  • Some nice hotel ones on RE at the moment. Right at the bottom of the "Assignments in other areas" list. They've been there a few days so I'm guessing people aren't bothering to scroll down to the bottom of the page!

Overnight stay with room service, dinner & breakfast

Shame I've got kids to worry about or else I'd be off!!!!!

Can I ask whereabouts these were for? I have been on RE but not seen them, I assume they should be visible to everyone if they are in "All Areas"? Is there any specific criteria which would mean they would not be visible to certain people?

    Thanks

wantmorejobs - they'll probably just be available to a certain people - age, marital status, kids (?) etc.... They're not on mine but I'm a 23 year old male so I can understand!

Jayneuk - if the jobs are yellow then it means there's a premium added to the job - click on the amount and it will say there's an extra premium being paid on the job as nobody has accepted it yet and they need to get it done...

When they are yellow on Gap it is because they are at a premium.

IMHO it is always best to FIRST ask the company involved in assigning the MS you would not ask questions about your regular job on t'internet first, would you???

Re grassroots the jobs are not all snapped up at once AFAIK if you do one store sometimes that means you cannot do any others of the same chain in the area for that round, IYSWIM, so if you accept one bum slapping supermarket then all the rest will disappear off your list.

I literally just logged onto GR and there were 7 jobs available, all at the "Bottom Slapping" supermarket. I selected one, got accepted for it, went back to get another in my area ... and they had all gone!

Still, I got one, so I'm happy

They disapear because you are only allowed to do one at a time for this company., so the rest haven't necessarily been taken but you can't accept them either. A couple of weeks ago I logged on & there were 72....yes,72! bank ones on GR, I took one & the rest went from my screen:rolleyes:

Yes, there is a premium, but I still can't click to accept it because it is all yellowed out.

Sorry Sarah, I will ask them then. I thought this thread was for queries like this. Sorry.

I have to disagree with Sarahsaver (for once!) here - I would generally ask here first on certain things; anything to do with GAP would certainly make one of those....

I think people on here are generally more knowledgeable than some MS company staff members are anyway so it's always worth an ask.

I view this thread as a bit of a knowledge base. Anyone who is having problems with a company/job/shopping in general should ask here. You never know, it may help many others in the future and may alert shoppers to a tip or a value-adding extra to MSing....

jayneuk - if you need to ask, try us - worst case is everyone can ignore you! ;)
