I think you just need to reopen the docs and then the button for the test will be live again.

registered with GAP yesterday and did my first assignement tonight :j

the only problem is that for my area it's only fast food things... so not good for a diet, does not pay much as it's mainly reimbursment of expenses.

I was expeting to have to uplaod the receipt but cant see any place for this so i assumed that if it's not asked when filling the form then i just keep it in case it's wanted later on... Is that right?

Gd i was quite stressed actually - but i chose a phone/pick-up thing, i tink i coulld not have done a dine in thing. the most difficult thing was to keep track of exact timing, incl. seconds:eek:

Like many others, I have found that accurately recording times is a big pain in the butt.

I started to write a program for my PDA to enable me to record times accurately and covertly. Then I discovered/realised that many PDAs have a facility already built in.

I own an iPaq, and like many other PDas, it has a record sound
buttom placed conveniently. The idea is that if you want to make a sound memo (like a Dictaphone), you press and hold the button and speak.

When you release the button a file is created so that you can play it back later.

Now here's the good bit. When you are at a timing point you can press and hold the button for two or three seconds. Then let it go. Continue to press the button each time you reach a timing point.

When you get home you can connect the PDA to your PC and look at the times that the files were created.

I know this sounds very techie, but it is easier that it sounds. So if you have a PDA with recording facility and you can connect it to your PC, you are probably able to use this. If you need any help, probably better to PM me rather than clog this thread up with techie type stuff.

Thanks to this stream I applied to Grassroots yesterday and already have my first job within hours :-) I hope it carries on like this!

I got the Burger one wrong first time round. I emailed them about it and they re-set the certification test for me. It wasn't done immediately, from memory I think they said the do one re-set every month, but mine was done within a few days.

Am I right that when doing a pizza job I have to ask on the phone if there are any deals, but can't actually take a deal as I can only order 1 medium pizza & 1 side??!
