I had a similar thing ethel but with man from the housing association coming to do a repair. He didn't even knock the door, just stuffed a card through saying I called and you were out.

Then the bloke who was sposed to come and install my new bedroom furniture didn't turn up, didn't answer his phone and didn't call me which p'ed me off no end :mad: So I burst into tears when it was clear he wasn't coming so b/f took pity on me and offered to do it :eek: much shouting and swearing later.. it's done

My foot is so puffed up I can't get a shoe on it, even just a flip-flop type ting and it's killing too.. my own fault for not resting it enuff I spose
Oh that sounds so painful angel. Maybe you should get the dr in hun?

Oher than that, all is fine here, my son has left home cos I'm such a s**t mother (according to him) and daughter is at my mums.
Oh ethel - I'm so sorry to hear all this hun. Where's DS staying angel? You know you're a brilliant mother ethel - it sounds like he just needed to let off some steam and I hope he'll return when he's calmer. He's been through a lot like the rest of you hun plus he's got those teenage hormones flying everywhere. Is he still going to counselling hun?

I'm sure that once he sees that wherever he is, it is not like being at home, he'll come back.
If there's anything I can do to help hun, give me a shout. You should be getting more help than you are.

Morning everyone :hello:

Aww tiffy, you'll be fine.. it'll be such a learning curve for you Wish I could come with you, I've only ever driven thru yorkshire, never been able to stop and have a lookie around and it does look so lovely up there.

Nothing much to report here, I think I have a 'free' day today, the only one this week, lol so I'm going to be sorting out my bedroom.. yes guys, my wardrobes are finally up and now it looks like a jumble sale up there sooo... wish me luck (dons waders and snorkel)

Hiya Tiffy

Foot isn't painful exactly, just very stiff and tight and huge.. like an elephants leg or sommat I spose I'm going to have to get used to it cos apparently this is what's going to happen to me regular now :eek: I've got those tight stocking things coming next week I think, they're being made to measure, so hopefully that will help. And apparently swimming is very good cos of the water pressure so I might give that a go, the hotel I'm staying in next weekend has a pool and spa so......

Son is home again, he was a bit sheepish, apologised and said he didn't know what came over him. He gave his g/f a hard time too this weekend so at least it wasn't just me. He sees his counsellor every 2 weeks but i think its early days yet, he's still sussing it out.

Daughter is coming off her section tomorrow :eek: so we have meetings from 2pm, the last one starts at 5pm so it's going to be a draining day. The hospital seem to think she'll be ready for discharge shortly but I still think it's too soon. Then there's a care plan meeting on Wednesday afternoon to discuss what will be available to her in the community - just spoke to social worker who said "not much" so I dunno what's gonna happen there

Ho hum.. if it doesn't kill me, it'll make me stronger eh? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hi Tulip! I like all Smarties, but Tiffy locks the blue ones away in a cupboard coz she thinks they make us misbehave :santa2: :idea: :whistle: No idea what she means, but what she doesn't realise is that I found the key! :j :beer:
