    Hi All,

Just dropping in to let you all know that my scan went really well and my baby is fine. We saw the heart beating, which was amazingly faxt. I, of course, burst out crying as soon as we saw it on the screen. They have confirmed that I am 8 weeks pregnant and that baby is due on 31st December (a slight improvement on Christmas Day, but not by much!!).

I feel such a huge sense of relief and am finally looking forward to my holiday on Saturday.

Karrie Congratulations, you and your son must be over the moon, I am soooo pleased for you.

    Hugs to you all.

    :hello: Everyone,

Congratulations Karrie and also to your son,I bet thats such a relief :)

I popped in my prescription at Boots this morning only to go back at 1.30pm to find they had mislaid it,poor girl assistant looked everywhere for it and no joy,I said I would return later in case it had been found, then I went home as a friend from my church had given me a lovely bunch of flowers and I wanted to put them in water asap, did that, then went on to college and to craft :)

enjoyed that alot as I cut out some leaves and painted a pole with black paint.

we had a bit of a party as it was half term next week so no class :)

I went back to Boots after 4pm and guess what, they had found the missing prescription :) I was so pleased. It had gone upstairs and there was one in front of mine as mine was behind it so they couldnt see it.Alls well that ends well now though, went to drs surgery on way home to say I had my items and that Boots had found the prescription, they said ok thanks for letting us know and do you want us to tear it up and I went yes please as I didnt need the reissue of one anymore :)

    lots of love,

Must be a huge relief for you. Now you can enjoy your holiday. Great news. Did you get pics to bring home with you?

Thanks for the congrats. My son put his head in his hands and cried his eyes out. It meant so much to him.

    Hope everyone else is well.

    Thanks Tulip - it's a huge relief.

    Good afternoon everyone :)
Well, I had my exam this morning. 2 hours wasn't enough time in the end - struggled to answer both the questions, but finished as much as I could. Not sure about how I did, but am glad its over :) Am off to campus again later for a practise, so that'll be a late one. So, 1 exam down, 5 to go :)
    Karrie, great news, congratulations!
Clipboard2, sounds like a fab idea, but as I am in the north, it'd be very difficult for me to get to! :(
flis21 glad the scan went okay :)
Tulip, glad Boots found your prescription!
-hugs- to anyone who wants one, and hope you're all having a nice evening :)

Tulip, Did you enjoy your craft course? What did you make today?

I'm glad that they eventually found your prescription :)

Karrie, CONGRATULATIONS to you and your son :T :T :T That's fantastic news. I am really pleased for the both of you.

flis21, I am so pleased to hear that everything is okay with the baby. That must be such a relief for both you and your OH. oooh 31st Dec, I wonder if you will be one of the Mum's giving birth at midnight on New Years eve.

At least now you can relax and enjoy a well deserved holiday :) I bet you're really looking forward to it now.

clipboard2, What a lovely idea. I think there are quite a few of us who live in the south/south east region. Brighton is a great place. Lots of lovely shops :) Where abouts do you live? (you don't have to answer if you don't want to) :)

slowlyfading, You did your best in the exam, what more can anyone ask for. I'm sure you've done fine though :) I bet you're glad it's over.

My day has been pretty crap tbh. My manager has really !!!!ed me off this afternoon and I've ended up feeling like !!!!. Whenever this other staff member helps out at our branch I just feel like a spare part. I was working on the computer, manager returns from lunch, shortly followed by the other staff member who was sent to help us. I was instantly sent out the back to do to all the crap jobs while they continue with their work, chat and laugh together. I may as well not have been there. I hardly said a word all afternoon. She kept on and on about how great she is and how great this other member of staff is (he covered for me when I was off sick) I felt like saying well I'm really sorry that you've got !!!!!!! stuck with me then. Speaking up never seems to help though, that's why I just carry on and say nothing. I couldn't wait to get home so I could cry and punish myself for being such a crap person to have to work with.

Thanks RBK - it's such a weight of my shoulders I tell ya!

Right now Mrs - YOU ARE NOT A CRAP PERSON AT WORK!!! The other two are crap for being inconsiderate and selfish. But you were the better person and didn't rise to it in front of them. Punishing yourself for their childishness is not fair on you. People that bleet about how great they are really means they have no confidence and are !!!!!! at what they do. Anyway, tell her to tell someone that gives a damn. Oh that's so annoyed me. I've been there before but walked out of the job. Have you thought about changing jobs? Please don't beat yourself up over someone elses stupidity.

  • Argh, Quite annoyed about what happened today. i had appointment to see CPN at 1:00 at the health centre, so i went and waited and waited and waited until 2:00pm when he hadnt shown up i decided to leave. I did all the things I should have done, I made myself known to the reception and told them I was here. Maybe i am being selfish but if there had been a problem that was going to delay him why didnt he call the surgery and tell them???

    anyway hoes everyone else?

I just buried my parakeet that died the other day. My sister's bf dug the hole. I asked my sister if she wanted to help, and said "We've got a spare spade." She heard "we've got to first base" and said that wasn't exactly what she wanted to hear when I was down the bottom of the garden with her bf.

    :hello: Everyone,

I had a good day today, went to my drs surgery for prescriptions, had two, then had to ask where my other meds were,it was such a mess but finally it got sorted, took it to Boots then I have to collect it tomorrow morning.Went off to Exeter for the day to my karioke, popped into Argos to get my clock as mum liked my first one so I let her have that sunday, she repaid me so got my new one today :) went to karioke at the pub where there was a buffet lunch prepared for everyone,I just ate and ate, went back home on the bus, and then I went for a hot meal of cheese omelette, chips and salad, got into my flat and immediatly felt bloated, watched Coronation Street, wasnt that good tonight? then had a bath after the 1st half hour of corrie while waiting for 2nd half at 8.30pm.

Exciting news I am going to see Katie Price aka
Jordan on 15th June between 1pm-2pm at a branch of whsmiths in Exeter just by the Guildhall centre where she is signing her book called Crystal :)
