or from 2001 to 2005. Yes

I agree with you the banks are hanging on until someone agrees with them and then it'll all get swept under the carpet. If 2 court cases have gone against them already and this one next week brings us no nearer to a resoloution then I fear i'll have to leave any money to my grand kids, I don't actually have any kids at the mo. The banks are playing the system and until someone in the government gets involved and says enough is enough this is going to go on and on for years. It's a complete joke the banks are still earning money from our money there holding , soon they will have accumulated enough money in intrest to pay us all back without touching the money they origanally took from us.0

If you are sued and you believe that your interpretation of the law is correct you would fight tooth and nail to make sure you won. Why should the banks act differently to how you would react? I would do exactly the same as they would.0 -

Have the FSA got unlimited money, I hope they have cause when the banks get 1 ruling in their favour can the FSA do what the banks are doing and keep appealing. They can only do this if they have the money and I don't think they have. We'll wait and see what the ruling is on Wednesday but I think it'll be 2-1 in our favour but the banks will never give it up.
two points really. The OFT are the ones who are suing the banks and not the FSA.
the second point is that there are 5 judges on this one and not 3 judges.0 -
