    Hi everybody

I am going to start the bank Charges reclaim process and send off the first template letter to Natwest. Can somebody confirm the address below is still the correct one to send to.

Thanks in advance for any answers.

  • Hi everyone,

I wonder if anyone can help me with this, I have been with the halifax since 1997 when i was 15 now i never signed anything for my bank and as such they have never had a sample of my signature. The account itself was opened for me by a former employee of halifax at a branch 200 miles from my home address without me being there or signing anything.

This may sound kinda stupid but can this help me claim back any charges?
Not particularly because you have used the account knowingly unless you are stating it was fraudulently opened in your name and used without your knowledge.

Trouble with understanding the list of charges that Barclays sent me...

Hi everyone, i recently sent a letter to Barclays PLc to request a list of charges that occured on my account in the last 6 years (templated from here). Today, Barclays replied my request and sent me a piece of paper with all charges, but they have put down so many jargons, it is nothing near as easy as what normal barclay statement says.... the list of charges are not listed under dates neither rather than years, so it's difficult to calculate interest too...

Can anyone please offer some advice? Many thanks!
    To Do List:

    [STRIKE]Barclaycard Credit Card Charges[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]BarclaysLoan PPI[/STRIKE]
    Barclays Account Overdraft PPI

Ask them for the statements back to July 2001 which they can provide.

    hi
please would you explain to me what happens next as i have filled in my form to fos and sent back all necessary docs that they requested. how long from now do the financial hardship cases take to sort out whether it ends up with a refund or not.it would be nice for me to know either way if it could be sorted by christmas. at least il know wether it could be a tough one again. I am so trying to be optimistic but even if you could give me a little light at the end of the tunnel i would feel an incy wincy bit better for it . thanks

Providing all available information is there including letters sent to and from the bank, income and expenditure form and also notices of arrears then worst case scenario is 12 weeks.
How did you argue that the bank were wrong is saying no to your claim?

they didnt say no to claim they accepted i was in financial hardship but what they offered was not even taking me out of red even tho it was their charges that put me there in first place. phoned the bank after receiving their final offer
asking them to up it to at least take me out of debit and was advised by them to go to fos if not happy as they were not prepared to up the offer even just to put me back in black. fos said over phone when i rang them that from what i had stated i was in financial hardship and was very adamant that i supply final offer letter in with form and proof of benefits which i did.
