Hi all, my apologies if this question has already been covered.

I would like to start the process of reclaiming bank charges for the last 6 years on my current account. I'm wary of doing this at the moment as i constantley live in my 'authorised' overdraft. Can my bank, the Halifax, pull the plug on my account?

I'm not in 'financial hardship' but then i'm not flush either.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

    Bob

No they can't pull your overdraft from you.

Do you have priority debt arrears(mortgage/rent, council tax, utilities)?

Yes I managed to get a statement of all charges, and this is from an account which I haven't used in a good couple of years.

It took around three weeks I think.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi everyone,

If I have claimed from Barclays succesfully a year or so back, and am now back in the same situation - can I reclaim again?

I know it's in hold but obviously want to get myself in the queue if possible.

Where did you address the letter to?
To your branch or to the central customer service?
    Thanks...
