    hi new to forum i was just wondering if i can reclaim the new Barclays bank charges of £22 they charge me now everytime i go over my overdraft limit, i wrote to them recently and they wrote back with just the £35 charges up until june last year any advice would be helpfull thanks

    You can claim them and get rid of the personal reserve since the bank are making £22 out of you.

    Thanks Natweststaffmember i am a little bit naive when it comes to dealing with banks but do i send them a letter/ phone/meet in person or do i copy your link )FSA waiver on bank charges and send to them) cheers dartsman

    They charge you £8 if they bounce an item and interest on any amount overdrawn ;)

    i put a claim in for my bank charges + intrest . I got to sending my last letter when they put claiming on hold this was at the end of 2007. Since then i have not heared anything, i am just wondering if the bank will get in contact with me? Or do i have to put in another claim? Or do something else? . Also i no you are only aloud to claim for the last 6 yrs does this mean that it will be 6 yrs from now or will it still go from when i sent the 1st letter, please help !!!

    You can claim 6 years from the stay period to today that means 6 years from 27th July 2007(however any claims on hold at that time that go over that limit are still valid and live). Have you received any further charges since then?
