Nat West have just filed a defence even though they sent letter making offer AFTER we had file MCOL. Had the acknowledgment though so here we go.
Question - I keep hearing on various posts that you must make sure the paperwork if correct if you go to court, and referrals to the "court bundle". What is the "court bundle" and what does it consist of?
Have looked on this site but can't for the life of me find it, also heard reference to finding it on Consumer Action site, but still I haven't come across it. Any help would be appreciated.
You'll find a thread here regarding Court Bundle but don't stress about this until such times as you actually have a date to attend court.

Edinburghlass....hope your still on line hen. Hope you can help. I know that there is another peson on here with same question as they posted it earlier this morning. Sent 2nd letter requesting refund of charges, thier 14 days are up on friday. Recieved a letter from them today saying " sorry Im not happy with charges and basically they have investigated my complaint and the charges were justified and that they are declining my complaint".
1. Does this mean I cant re-claim back my charges or is this a standard fobbing off letter ?
2. Do I ignore letter and continue to send the court action letter from this website ?
Any help would be very much appreciated hen, thank you xx0 -
Sorry I haven't got back to those questions but the answer for you is yes send the letter and give them 14 days to reply and then if you are no further forward after the 14 days, in your case we'll look at going through the Financial Ombudsman.0

Many, many thanks hen, I know your very busy with this site ( and finding time for yourself at home....) but your time is very much appreciated by myself and others here, so many thanks again honey. Can I ask you though, you said in my case if there is no reply after 14 days we will go through the Financial Ombudsman, why is this hen ?? Is this letter different from what other re- claimers have had ?? Sorry.0
-
No different but as you are claiming in Scotland the claim limit for going via the courts is £750/1500 but the Financial Ombudsman will take on your case and recover the full amount with no court costs.0

Thank you again hen.........sending big hugs to you.....to be honest, very nervous about going to court. My claim is £746 and think I was hoping they might settle outwith courts, fingers crossed anyway, but a BIG THANK YOU, take care, thanks for being there and helping put my mnd at ease !!!! xx0

Hi Edinburghlass, as you will see from my earlier posts, I intend going through the FOS. Do I need to give the bank the 8 weeks, before I contact the FOS again? Just want to make sure, and not keep annoying the FOS. Must keep on their good side!!!! thanks, IZZY0
