Reclaim Unfair Bank Charges article discussion Part II

I've just taken a close look at my bank account from Feb '03, when I was a NatWest employee. In the intervening period, I have received charges of £9,629.35!
 A record? Probably not!
What do people think my chances of recovering any/all of these charges?
 Good Luck to all !

i am currently four years into paying an iva and have another two years to go because of house equity, my question is, am i still able to claim from the bank in question for bank charges and also to the cc companies for the ppi becase of the iva?? i will be totally debt free in two year time, it has been a hard struggle because of handing out so much money every month for six years, but to know i owe nothing will be well worth it and never will i have an more credit....ever!!

I reclaimed my bank charges in 2007, didn't get it all back, but i was happy with the outcome.
Since then, they have stripped me of my visa card and given me a solo debit card instead. Im not really bothered about that, but since i reclaimed my charges, they charge me for the smallest amount, the smallest amount i went overdrawn was 23p, i was charged £28 for that, which took me to -£28.23, now beacuse i was overdrawn by that much, i was charged another £35 at the end of the month.
what really gets my goat was, that when the £35.00 was charged to my account, i was then left with -£4.00, which i then incurred another £28.00 charges.
It seems to be ongoing, and i can't win.
Since i made my claim, i have become a single parent and disabled due to a degenerative disease, they know im on benefits, as ive phoned them a few times in tears as my benefit money has been swallowed up by charges, they really don't give a dam.
I know i can't claim my charges back again, as i had to sign a disclaimer when i claimed the last lot, im just at my wits end on what to do for the best, i really try hard, but its getting beyond a joke now, for silly little amounts0

Send a S.A.R to MBNA. You need to write to the debt collector to say the account is in dispute as you do not agree with the outstanding balance. It may be worth sending a credit agreement request to the debt collector, 'casue without that they are not entitled to chase you for money anyway. One step at a time 0 0

You need to write to them and appeal to their better nature. I would be clear it is a formal complaint. If they do not respond empathetically i would make a complaint to FOS. I would seriously consider opening an alternative account to have your benefits paid into. One step at a time 0 0
