Wondered if anyone could tell me. Even if all claims are stayed will we still get interest on our charges to when the court case/appeal ends??
TA!!!!!!!!:rolleyes:0 -
In theory, yes. It's covered by the FSA waiver directions:soontobesensible wrote: »Wondered if anyone could tell me. Even if all claims are stayed will we still get interest on our charges to when the court case/appeal ends??

But I can't see banks paying this voluntarily, so claimants will have to calculate the interest and not accept anything less.(15)
to the extent that sums are ultimately to be paid to complainants in respect of relevant charges complaints that have been stayed, the firm must include in these sums an element of compensation in respect of interest charged to or lost by the customer as a result of being out of money during the stay period;0 -
Hi,
I'm just about to take on LLOYDS TSB for bank charges, however I have a loan with loans direct (lloyds tsb loans) which is due to end in August. Are they likely to try and play hard ball and call in the loan ??0 -
No, your loan is covered by a completely separate agreement, assuming your loan payments are not in arrears.Hi,

Hi,
i had two accounts about 9 years ago , one account with Barclays and one account roth RBS. They used to charge me a bomb of bankcharges. My question is, if this court thing goes through so everyone can reclaim their bankcharges, then will i be able to do it which is about 9 years ago ? The problem i have got is that i havent got anymore records of these accounts and these account are now with debt collection agencys. Can anyone advise me properly what i can do and if there is any standard letter i can sent to banks to reclaim bankcharges .
Many thanks0 -

I've reclaimed from Natwest on a business account, reclaimed £3496, offered £2652, which I accepted, so its worth a try.Debt Free Dec 2009non-smoker 19th Nov 2010Trying to lose weight 40lb/42lb
