Another quick question:
Do you go back 6 years from now (June 12 2007) or is it from the beginning of that financial Year?0 -

 ready to send letter to halifax tomorrow informing of intention to go to court
anybody got any knowledge of what outcome may be0 -
This is my first post so hopefully I have done it correctly as I am also useless with understanding the simplest computer instructions.
I need to ask help from someone please....I sent my letter to Lloyds TSB on 4th March and recieved a reply from them on the 27th March and amongst all the dribble there is one paragraph which confused me.."The office of fair trading has published new guidelines on credit card default charges. We're still talking it through with them, buit the important thins is that the guidelines are about 'default charges' that people pay when they break an agreement with us. This doesn't apply to your charges as these were for dealing with your request to go over your agreed overdraft limit. They are not default charges because you haven't broken your agreement. They are our prices for the service we provide in these situations."
At the very end of the letter they then ask that if I am not satisfied with their letter that I should contact the Financial Ombudsman Service.
I then resent them a letter on the 4th April saying that I was not happy with their response and would still like to reclaim my bank charges (total of 512 without interest or 595 with interest) - they have not replied.
I know I have left it far too late - mainly as I have been ill and not able to get online or sort anything out - But my question is do I contact FOS as they suggest or do I write to them again or worse still take them to court?
Any helpful ideas and suggestions much appreciated
Many thanks0 -

Hi, I entered judgement against Lloyds yesterday morning as they had aknowledged but didn`t defend. It came up as "requested". Today it reads "issued". Does this mean i can crack open the champers??? ,or is there still a chance thay may enter a last minute defence as i have read on previous posts. Just thought now it was "issued" i was safe, does anyone know? Thankyou x0

Could someone please help me, aggain lol
Today was the last day the bank (Lloydstsb) could put in a defence before i start the judgment process. this morning i got a letter from the bank saying that dont usual pay put but in the instance they will they offerd me only £750 but my actual claim is for £2300 they said this will be in my account within the next 10days. i know its progress to recieve that but it still seems unfair i said i to myself if they offered me £1500 i would accept it. what do i do now inregards to the HMCS to take them to court? do i send the bank a letter saying that its basically not enough. im a bit stuck with all the legal side of it now. HELP lol0 -
