Ryanair is taking people for a ride - literally !!!
Last Wednesday I tried to book a return to Bergamo (don't let Ryanair tell you it's Milan) for October. It showed availability, but when I went to pay, the system said that the number of seats I required were no longer available. This evening, I checked again, surprise surprise, the correct number of seats are available for 1p each way, but when I select them the price jumps to £184.10, because taxes etc are now added to them. This appears to be a con. I'm sorry, but I wouldn't pay more than 1p to fly on this poor airline.0 -

Fortunately, where I want to be is 100k south of Milan - Bergamo is actually very nice - I can recommend Iseo -much much much better than Lake Garda.0 -

As other people have explained the cheap 'web fares' attract tax but the 'regular fares' don't. It's all in this thread if you care to look through it.
I agree about misleading airport names, Girona is not 'Barcelona', it's a good 50-60 miles up the coast!0 -

The point I'm making is that in this case it appears to be misleading - why wasn't there any "1p" seats available last week, when now there's shed-loads?0
