Can anybody tell me if this is likely to be a problem?

Have booked the free flights but noticed on confirmation I have booked 4 adults instead of 2 adults and 2 children. All the names are correct.

    thanks.

It shouldn't be. Ryanair charge by the seat and don't differenticate between adults and children. Once the names are ok, you'll be fine.

The same happened to me, and I KNOW I booked for 2 Adults, and 2 Children, but the Confirmation shows 4 Adults!
I think because the seats at this price for everyone (as opposed to being cheaper for a Child, as is usual!) that it wont matter, and they are putting all bookings down as Adults!
(It would be different if it were an infant, as they don't get seats, or hand baggage allowance!)
So anyone booking for an infant, would be as well booking as a Child!!!
    Hope that makes sense!

Thank you! Thought I was going mad because I was sure I booked 2 adults and 2 children.

You've both put my mind at rest!

Be careful, T&Cs state that a child under 2 cannot have its own seat so you must book them in as infants.
I had hoped to get around this one as my twins will be 22 months when we fly but didn't want to be turned away at the airport!

I made some mistakes in booking for a party of 4, the two people that I made a name mistake on, I have booked another 2 seats just in case they say something.

Probably will but lets hope not.

  • ok, scrap the last one - i'm doing a monthly search going from liverpool to any destination and although a lot of 0.01p fares are coming up - they're all web fares and therefore i'm getting £30 of taxes put on each time!!!

    Have i missed something??

    Little miss

Go to their main page and have a look at the FOUR airports that are doing 1p flights
    Glasgow (Prestwich),Stansted,E.Mids and Liverpool.
Pick the one you want and then on the left hand side of the page just below where you enter your dates, click on "find lowest fares".

When the new page opens, select the airport from where you are flying, the destination and then put in the dates 1st Sept. to 27th Oct.

It will then come up with a whole load of dates and prices.
The ones you are looking for are the "REG" fares of 1p

On the Ryanair home page, there's a tab at the top "Find Lowest Fares".
This gives you an option to view flights over a period.
Ignore the 1p Web fares as these will include taxes.
    Happy hunting
  • Hi, can oneone here recommend any good destinations to visit for a day trip (or two days) in the 1p flights from Stanstead?

booked a return from Bournemouth to Nantes for 2p each but had to pay £8 for express check in - I think we can live with that!
