Morning all
Hope everyone had a great weekend.
Not done much moneysaving to put to the Op pot this weekend.
On Saturday I visited my family, my mum bought me a new top for my hols so that was good
and in the evening I went out with my 2 oldest friends had a great night putting the world to rights. Think the 3 witches in Macbeth :rotfl:
Yesterday I went into town shopping with OH and my 2DDs had a nice day, loads of new clothes bought and a lovely lunch.
Managed to get a lot of packing done last night everyone helped which was great as I usually have to do it all myself.
98p confirmed and paid for Nica bag I bought last week on £co, very impressed.
washing out to line dry, off to work, have a good day!!0 -
Morning all

Last night I transferred money to credit cards etc to pay them off for the month, a little bit of cashback earned. You don't get it until Dec but that will go to OP pot when the payment gets made.
I have loads of surveys in my inbox but didn't manage to get round to doing them. I will try and catch up with them later.
Tonight's job is to get out all the holiday paperwork, print off anything that still needs printed and make sure everything in order. I need to get travel insurance for DD1 for her holiday with her boyfriend.
Lunches made for work and dinner will be from stores and washing out to line dry.
I am going to go t shops after work to return a couple of things and pick up what I still need to get.
Have a good day

Morning

I have cleared my inbox of surveys about 8 got screened out of 7  and made 50p on ugov.
I collected 42 adpoints will do some more later.
I have bagged up loads of clothes and old bedding etc I will take some to the charity shop and the rest to the recycling.
I took back an unwanted birthday gift yesterday and managed to get DD a beach towel, some new mugs and a new frying pan the last 2 are on the list to replace in the house so money for them in house pot I will move to OP pot :T
I have made lunches for work and dinner will be from what's in I do need to get bread although I am hoping one of my workmates will be going out at lunchtime as they can pick it up for me which will stop me having the temptation to pick up loads of other bargains, that I don't need
I bought DD's travel insurance last night so I think that's the last thing needed for her holiday apart from euros.0 -
Went to shops managed to buy more than the bread I went in for but not much.
I went and picked up a unit for my mum too to save her paying for delivery from furniture shop, that's my good deed for the day
I took clothes to recycling plant £7.40 I will move that to OP pot and £3.18 from TCB converted to CC vouchers.
Got away from work early so off to strip my girls beds and clean bathroom I might as well do something productive as I'd usually still be working

Last night I managed to scrub bathroom from top to bottom, it is gleaming it won't last, actually I was surprised OH didn't go in and shave once i had finished. That's what he usually does and there is little black hairs everywhere drives me nuts!!!
Went to mechanic last night and got a small hole in my exhaust fixed all it cost me was the price of the putty
OH pays for anything done to the car or his van with his skills in their house seems a fair trade to me, don't know if he agrees lol.
Went to visit my mum last night and she reimbursed me for the unit I picked up for her so I will need to go and put it into the bank today before I spend it. I paid for it on my cashback card s a few pence will be winging it's way to the balance.
Rain is on here this morning so don't think I will be getting the washing out.
On a brighter note 2 more days of work and 3 sleeps to my holidays can't wait :j0 -
Last day of work today :j
DD1s wages wnt in this morning and there is nowhere near enough for her to go her holiday so I will have to speak to her and do some juggling to make sure she has enough money, I want her to enjoy herself and not be worrying about money.
Normal mortgage payment came out today, will sort finances later as I need to move money out account for holiday.
Doesn't look too promising here I don't think the rain is very far away but I am still going to hang my washing out and keep my fingers crossed
collected 45 adpoints last night.
I might go to shops after work to get some food and snacks in for DD while we are away she doesn't go away untl 10 days after us. No doubt her boyfriend will move in here for that time and they can play at houses:rotfl:
Have a good Friday

Afternoon all im back from my holidays and had a wonderful time, back to reality!!!
I have spent a lot of money this month so as yet I haven't made an OP for this month. I have it in the bank but unsure whether to pay it or not.
A flat has come onto the market that would be perfect for my student daughter. I am looking into the possibilty of buying it and paying the mortgage on it for her as she doesnt really have an income. However, that would put paid to any OPing for me. Not sure what the best way to do it would be and whether it is viable or not but there is no harm in looking into it. I haven't mentioned it to her ntil I know if it is possible or not.
I need to get back into some mse ways.
In the last two days I have:- collected 100 adpoints
- £1.50 ugov
- £2 VO
- I have a cashback claim confirmed on TCB for £17:T didn't think I was going to get it so that's a bonus it's not payable yet.
- £13ish sitting in £co account
- I also got some smellies reduced in debenh@ms sale to put away for my friends bday in Aug.
- I have put washing out to line dry, it's showery though so will probably spend the afternoon running in and out of the garden.

Morning

The rain is on here and it looks like it's on for the day. I still have a load of washing going in the machine in the hope that it brightens up.
OH going away to a music festival with his mate today for a couple of nights so he has stuff lying everywhere. I went to shops yesterday and got all the bits he needed so he just needs to lift everything and go.
My DD2 is supposed to be camping out tonight at her friends farm however with the weather i fear it may be cancelled which will be such a shame as they are all so excited about it. Fingers crossed the sun will come back out.
Plans for today:- all meals from stores
- write a meal plan for next week
- scrub kitchen tiles and try to clean up the grout looks really grubby around the cooker, I want to replace them
- general tidy of the house
- hoover and mop all floors
- work out a budget for next week

Morning all

I had a busy day yesterday out in the garden in between the rain showers. I've managed with the help of my dad to get the back looking nice after a few visits to local diy store and some hard graft.
It's amazing what a difference £40 made to make it look neat and tidy. I'm fortunate that my dad has a beautiful garden and lots of plants and flowers so some gifts from him helped keep the cost down.
I haven't managed to do meal plan yet but will look at it over weekend.
My friends are coming round tonight for a few drinks and a catch up. Should be fun we are all just back from our holidays so there should be a lot of stories to tell.
I have collected another 150 adpoints between today and yesterday which means for the first time since I startred I managed to get the full 250 this week. I think it's because I was away for 3 weeks and hadn't used it. However, I was getting fed up with it, it is a bit tedious.
Going to do a general tidy then pop out with my dad to get another pot and some flowers for a corner I think is looking bare in the garden. Then I might pop in and see my MIL.
Have a good Friday all.0 -
Morning

I had a lovely weekend lots of time with friends and family and I had a NSD on Saturday.
Over the weekend I managed to complete a couple of surveys and phoned V!rg!n to try and reduce my package. I got someone who was all for the company and telling me they couldn't beat my package cost as I had a huge loyalty discount blah blah blah. Eventually I got it reduced by about £4.50 as I had international calls and mobiles set up on it. I have no idea why as I don't use the landline for any of that. Not great but still a reduction.
This morning I have collected 34 adpoints.
I started my meal plan last night and have this weeks organised although I am going to try and complete it for the month. I am going to set myself a personal grocery challenge for the month starting on the 1st-31st. I will pay for all groceries on CC so I can keep track and it's a cashback card so all good. I have a bit of an addiction to food shopping and buy even when I don't need it so going to try and use up what is in and meal plan accordingly.
I might take DD2 out today to get school uniform if she doesn't have any plans with her friends.
OH's tax bill came out bank this morning as I set the payment up a while ago so I wouldn't forget and my standard mortgage payment so bank looking quite empty
I haven't made OP for this month yet I am going to go and think about it because I don't want to overstretch myself. I wish I had a mortgage where I could just make any payment I wanted and that I could see it online. I will definitely be hoping to get one like that when my fixed rate is up.
2 loads of washing out to line dry think it's to be showery so will keep an eye out for it. I will walk to shops later for rolls and save petrol.
Have a good day!!!0
