Morning everyone

Not sure what tday will bring.
I don't have time before I go to work to do surveys that are in my inbox but will do then when I get home.
I have made lunches and dinner will be from stores. I need to go to shops during my break for bread and milk. I will only buy bread and milk!!!!
I am going to try and start a bit of packing tonight as I will be out all of this weekend and the clock's ticking!!!
Going to check my banking, I will post later with any updates.0 -
well I managed to go to shops and just buy bread and milk :j I think that's a first!!!
Got screened out 3 VO surveys and completed1 For £1.50.
Sun has come out and rain has stopped so have put a load out on the line hopefully it will dry.
Have just gave DS dinner as he is going to work, DD1 having dinner at her BFs so just need to make something for me,OH and DD2. Trying to use up what is in and run down things before we go on holiday. I can see there being some interesting meals in the next 2 weeks :rotfl:0 -
Travel insurance on the to do list for tonight, have looked at a few, I think I will buy an annual policy. I don't know whether to add gadget cover it's about an extra £20 I think I probably should though as it will cover DD2's iphone and ipad,
I will think it over looked at the insurances recommended on the weekly e-mail however they seem to be more expensive than other ones I have looked at.0 -
Morning all

it looks as if it is a better day today, been wet the last few days.
Today's efforts:- washing out to line dry
- 50p ugov survey
- £2.68 from TCB to OP pot
- lunches and dinner will be from stores
- I have reserved towels from @rgos reduced to £6.66 on my list of things to replace have already picked up a few bales from debenh@ams but these will do to change with
- 5 adpoints
- still no e-mail from thailand about train travel. I have sent another one hopefully will get a reply in the next couple of days I know I can book when I get to Bangkok but I want the sleeper carriages and on reading on forums etc apparently they get booked up quite quickly.

Worked through lunch and was owed a bit of time so got away early
However I went to the shops and spent some money, on the plus side got some bits I needed for the holidays so another few things ticked off. Got quite a few bits of underwear reduced in new l@@k which will do my 2 DDs.
I have had a reply finally with regard to train tickets all first class cabins fully booked so will have to go 2nd class DD2 won't be happy as she wanted a private berth(shes only 14) and she doesn't like the idea of people walking by you at night when you are trying to sleep. I would happily fly down as there isn't that much difference in price but OH desperately wants to take the sleeper train. I will have to speak to them when they get in to see what the decision will be. Maybe I could fly down with DD and OH and DS can take the train :rotfl:
I have had confirmation from hotel in Saigon they will pick us up at airport on arrival so at least we should be able to find our way to the hotel I didn't fancy trying to give a taxi driver instructions and end up getting lost after such a long flight. It's a few quid more but I think it's money well spent to have no hassle.
I will need to get in and prep the dinner soon, spanish style pork for me and DS and some type of prawn meal for the othere 3 non-meat eaters.
Going to watch my nieces tonight :j they are 4 and 5 and they really are a tonic they are so funny!!!
DD picked up my new towels after work they are in the machine and I will hang out to line dry once finished. Also, got DD to pick up a skirt for DD2 and pay for it using her student discount £2 saved will move that to OP pot.0 -
Morning all

Well decision was made the train it is, booked and paid for it last night.
Payday today- don't think there will be much going to OP pot as it will be used for bills and anything extra will go towards holiday spends.
25 adpoints collected and a ugov survey in my inbox will do that when I get in from work.
Not much else to report have a great Friday

Morning all
I have a major hangover this morning was at Glasgow Green last night to see one of my favourite bands. It was amazing :jI went to see them in Manchester last year and didn't think it could top that but it was brilliant.
Happy Fathers day to any dads out there. I've got my dad a card I got made from FP but haven't got him a gift yet. He usually comes round on a Sunday morning, but I don't know if he will show this morning as he knows I was out last night. I've got chocolates for I can give him and I think I will just give him cash as he is doing up his house and would probably rather have the money to put to that.
not much happening on the OP front, spent a fortune yesterday not complaining as it was worth every penny.
25 adpoints that's about it, really need to step my game up :rotfl:
Have a great Sunday!!!0 -

Thanks SS, I know you have to have the balance and I have just started out on this but it seems to be in my thoughts all the time does that pass? Won't be able to make any OPs for a while anyway but doesn't stop me dreaming about it lol
Weather wasn't great but it didnt seem to dampen anyones spirits. I was soaking, nice combo of sweat, rain and things being thrown beer and probably some other liquids you don't want to think about. I didn't care for one night and one night only I was 18 again  it was amazing!!! Even better than Heaton Park don't know if it felt that way just because it was in my home town.
A bit of good news a friend I referred on TCB must have met the threshhold as there's a £10 referral payment been confirmed
wasn't expecting that. 0 -
Hi all
Today has proved to be a bit costly as OH had tp pay for his new glasses and 2 fillings at the dentist.
Not much to report- made lunches and took them to work etc
- washing out to line dry
- cashback from 123 for bills approx £10 which I will move to OP pot
- checked e-mails, there's a few surveys in inbox but I can't be bothered doing them tonight usually get screened out anyway.
