The sun is out here :j hope everyone else having a sunny Saturday!!!
Had a lovely day yesterday with my DDs, went into town and did some shopping for them and had a lovely lunch. It was good to have some girlie time.
I spent a small fortune although it was worth it as they were happy but I've got up this morning and trying to push the wee voice away in the back of my head saying "you could have overpaid that to the mortgage." I wonder if once I start this journey next week I will think that all the time lol.
I need to start splitting money into various pots as I want to do things in the house, overpay the mortgage and have a holiday fund. I also want to get driving lessons for DD1 but I will wait until she comes back her holiday in the summer.
So over the weekend I will try to draw up a plan and a budget for each.
Only 3 days to mortgage payment comes out so I will phone with my first overpayment the day after, how sad am I counting the days :rotfl:
Have a great bank holiday everyone!!!!0 -
Got an email from Mr S with a £15 moc if I spent £60 online. I decided to just do a shop but spend £100 so I could get free delivery as I wanted it for tomorrow and that would have cost £6.
Bought a load of water, juice etc which will hopefully last me until we go our holidays. So £85ish coming off for that it was more than I was going to spend this week as I have plenty in but think it will be a saving in the long run.
£50 from ugov paid into my account this morning
that will go toward first OP.
I was screened out another 2 surveys from VO
112 points from nectar adpoints.
Going to check my nectar points balance and use them to buy some suntan lotion don't think there is a lot but it might get me 2 bottles. OH got loads on his business card but will keep them for a big purchase.0 -
Exchanged some of my CC for Denby rewards esterday. I was wanting to replace some bits in the kitchen as there was a 50% off sale yesterday.
The codes haven't arrived yet  hope they arrive today.
Registered on the Denby site yesterday and they also sent me a 5% off code not much but it all helps.0 -
My order came from Mr S with a few substitutions didn't take them though as they were more expensive. On the plus side got a £6 off £40 moc for next week so that will come in useful.
loads of washing done today and out to line dry. Picked DS up from airport this afternoon so managed to get his stuff washed and out
the things that make me happy!!!
Going to my friends tonight for her birthday I am going to drive though so at least I wont have a hangover in the morning :rotfl:0 -
First mortgage payment going out has shown on online banking this morning :j
can't wait to make my first overpayment, would like to call today and do it but I'm sure the guy I spoke to a while ago said to leave it a few days.
I will maybe call them and see what they say.
Hoping to have a NSD today all stuff in for meals so just need to avoid the temptation of the shops.
Going to hang washing out before I go to work and lunches made for everyone.
Have a good day all
