Can you take your overpayments back if you need to? It depends on your lender, but we simply filled out a form and the overpaid cash was back in our current account 5 days later.

Hi kirsty, not sure if I can I haven't seen any mention of it I would need to phone S@ntander and find out. I have decided to wait to the end of the month when I would make my OP and see what state the finances are in.

I also have had a bit of a spending splurge in the last couple od days so I have feeling they may not look too healthy. I need to go and check my visa balance. I put most of my spending on that as it's a cashback card but I have lost track over the last few days. It's too easy to spend online :rotfl:

I have completed a ugov survey for 50 points this morning. I am going to strip the beds and get them washed and out to line dry today.

I need a few bits from shops but I think I will just go to L!dl and try to hang off to later in the week to do a big shop. I have a £6 off £40 moc for Mr S so will use that during the week.

My mum is off to visit her sister down south tonight so I will drive her to the bus station tonight my good deed for the day.

I think I will spend most of the day at home had a lovely day out at gala day with my nieces yesterday and the rain stayed away for most of the day. I will maybe pop in and see MIL later on today but she only lives 5 mins away.

Have a good day :)

Update on today.

I went to the shops earlier I think I spent about £10, not too bad I picked my dad up a couple of boxes of bran flakes as he likes the ones out of L!dl and they are only 59p. He doesn't drive and it's a bit out the way.

I filled the car with petrol yesterday £68 so I am going to see how long it lasts as I am fed up going back and forwards to the garage because I only put £15 in at a time.

Got al be dding washed and dried today and house is tidy. I made gammon steaks, potatoes and veg for me and DS and pasta with a ricotta and spinach sauce for the veggies. that wasn't on the meal plan for today but was feeling lazy so just wanted to make something easy.

I ordered DD2 school shirts from Debenh@ms, 20% off and then used another 10% code. I ordered a bag for DD1 too it was half price.

Popped into my sisters for a cuppa earlier as MIL wasn't in, either that or she is avoiding me :rotfl:

Just going to go round to my mums to pick her up to take her to station.

Morning, doesn't look too bad today here :)

I have checked all the bankings etc today and I am going to do some sums and do the money hokey cokey once I have. Visa bill sitting at £610  I knew I had spent a few quid the last few days but I didn't think it was that much.

On the plus side cashback for last month on visa was £7.92 and total cashback is sitting at £40.80, won't get paid to December but it is OP money in the bank.

No adpoints today or surveys so far.

I will make dinner from stores, might do the fish pie tonight that I was supposed to do last week or sesame seed fish goujons.

Washing in DS decided to tidy his room last night so needless to say the empty basket is now like Everest!!!

I don't know what I will do today I think DD2 is going out with friends so I will be left to my own devices.

I think I am going to take her to Edinburgh tomorrow she fancies going through and it will be a day out. I was considering taking her to London for a few days as my mum at her sisters who is about an hour away from London. I thought I could have a couple of nights in London then go to my aunts for a night. However, it is really expensive for hotels and travel so I have decided against it.

Anyway, off to tally the books I should turn computer off as I will end up reading other diaries and get nothing done ;)

Morning all :)

I didn't do much yesterday I went to visit MIL and went and got a few bits from shops. I only spent £1.68 :T got some YS bread, YS rolls a bag of frozen chips, pancakes and 3 bananas. I am trying to buy as little as possible to keep the cost of this month's grocery shop down and I will OP anything left at the end of the month.

I made the fish goujons yesterday I was a bit disappointed as they didn't have that much flavour. I think I would add some herbs or spice into the coating the next time. I've still not had that fish pie, next week :rotfl:

I am going to go to Edinburgh with my DDs today so that will leave the menfolk to fend for themselves for dinner later. I am looking forward to spending the day with my girls!!

57 adpints collected this morning and I have balanced all the books so know what money I have left. Although by the time I get home tonight that will probably be nothing.

Have a good day all.

Morning :)

Had a great day in Edinburgh. Skint Spice- I enjoy just walking around and taking everything in there is always such a buzz. Had a wander around a nice lunch, a lovely dinner and a few drinks in some of the alfresco areas they had set up.

I was sitting watching the world go by and Mrs Moneypenny from Superscrimpers just wandered past, apparently she was doing a show.

I also got a bargain in T0pshop, I was buying my DD a top price on tag £18, went to checkout the guy says that's £3. I said sorry I thought it was £18 he said no it's £3 whilst looking at me as if I'm daft. Needless to say I skipped out that shop :T

This morning I have:
• competed a ugov survey 50points
• got screened out of VO again
• checked adpoints, none this morning
• July's CC statement now showing online so £5.98 cashback this month
I think I will probably stay at home most of today, I have had emails to say a few parcels have been despatched so I will need to be in for those.

I will have to go and do a shop DH complaining last night that there wasn't a few things, I was trying to string it out until weekend but think I've been caught :rotfl:that's what happens when I'm not in to make dinner and his lunches for work etc he notices that things aren't as fresh as he would like.

Have a good day all :)

MMM- thanks I am enjoying seeing the difference the OP's make.

Postman just been just got a free maybelline mascara. :j It said I had won a competition. I don't remember entering it, it was probably on one of the boards on the site. Now whether to put it away to put in one of my DDs stockings or keep it for myself. Hmmm....

Been to shops got in what I needed and used a £2.50 moc, I will move that to OP pot.
