    Morning all :)

Not anything to report OP wise but I will see what the day brings.

I don't have any plans for today I will wait until DD gets up and see what she wants to do.

Washing in and will be put out to line dry. I am hoping to have a NSD today.

Dinner and lunch will be from stores- I think I might make fettucine with dolcelatte and quorn tonight with garlic bread. DS doesn't really like pasta so lamb chops, potatoes and veg for him.

My DD was saying she fancied a pasty they do in the bakers with sausage, beans and cheese in it- she's veggie so can't have one. I thought I'd try making them with veggie sausages any suggestions on what pastry to use. Do you think puff pastry would work?

Have a good day all :)

Just been to Mr S to get OH beer, just looked at the price online which was discounted, it wasn't when I got there  £5 dearer must only be online or something to do with the Licensing laws.

I only got him 1 case and decided to get another few bits I could use throughout the month so I could use MOC.

Grocery spends from the 28th to now have been £105.47, I am trying to keep track and spend less this month. I have used £15.75 in MOCs during that time so that has been moved to OP pot. I have been trying to stick to £100 per week for everything(I don't include alcohol or cigs in that) but I am hoping to come in less so I can OP any difference.

I made the pasta for dinner, didn't have dolcelatte so substituted it with gorgonzola, house stinks now :p although it was quite tasty.

    Since earlier:
    • collected 11 adpoints
    • ug survey 50p
    • vo survey £1, that should take me jus over the £20 so will be able to claim a couple of vouchers I think I will get them for Mr S as it will help with my grocery challenge.
    • £4 tracked in £co- I was surprised because it was for something i tried to buy online and it wouldn't process so I had to phone the company and buy over the phone.
DD's shoes came today she's over the moon 4 new pairs for her to parade about it in!!!

I transferred £100 to her account today to pay for her kit for the start of college however she went in today and doesn't have to pay it until she starts so I will move it back for another few weeks earn a few pence interest on it.

Just going to settle down and watch masterchef, love it!!!

    Morning all :)

I have got up this morning and dyed my hair cheaper than a trip to hairdressers especially as the dye was a freebie from my mum :)

I am going to meet some friends for lunch today, it will be good to have a catch up before I go back to work next week.

I got an e-mail from @sos this morning about their 50% off 50 items.

Why did I open it??? Oh dear cambr!dge satchel ordered and a pair of chelsea boots for DD2. I can't resist a bargain and DD was looking at similar boots on Tues in TS and they were £60 so in my logic I've saved money. She also fancied one of the satchels but I didn't want to pay over £100 for one. I don't know if she will like it as it's black and white but she's not here to ask. It can always be returned, I thought if I leave it it might be sold out.

No adpoints or surveys this morning so far and haven't worked out this weeks budget yet so don't know what I will put towards OP.

Hopefully letter will come from Santander today from my last OP so I can see what the balance and new term is. I am toying with the idea of increasing my DD as I read on one of the othere diaries that they had done that. I didn't know I could do that. I will have a think about it.

Off to dry my hair, not sure what the colour will be like as it's not my usual brand. As long as it's covered the grey I don't care :D

    Morning :)

I had a nice catch up and lunch with my friends yesterday, we went to a new restaurant that had a lunch special £6.95 for 2 courses. It was good value and the food was tasty. I would go back.

£6 added to grocery spends yesterday- total sitting at £111.47. I will be adding to it today as I need milk and will maybe pop in to L!dl to see if they have any of the butter that is on the half price weekend.

last night I ordered some photographs using the discounts from martin's email. First card completed that had about 700 photos on it and there are still another 2 cards to go  total cost was about £10 so I am pleased with that. They have canvases with 50% off. So I will sit with DH at some point over the weekend and pick out a couple of photos to put onto canvas we have some beautiful prints from Cambodia and Thailand.

Small things I have done this morning to help to reduce mortgage

DD2 wants to do something today with me, she suggested going window shopping. I can't be bothered trailing around the shops again but she's at that age that that is all she really wants to do. We are going to have a movie night tonight so I have got the drinks, popcorn and chocolate in :D

Still no letter from Santander. Have a good weekend all.

I went out with DD we went to the early cinema showing £1.25 each :Tand the movies was a feel good movie so came out cinema happy. Then went to shops to pick her up pens and pencils so another thing ticked off.

No letter from Santandr so I phoned them just to make sure they had received the OP. So mortgage looks like this

Balance when started in May £45000

    balance today £42541.19

    Original term 10 years

Term remaining 9 years 5 months

I am happy with this, thanks to these boards for giving me the idea to do it. I wouldn't even have thought of it if I hadn't stumbled upon some of the threads on here :T

Although I am considering upping the DD by £60, I spoke to the advisor who says that it will take the term down to 8 years and it won't affect the amount you can OP. It is a permanent change though, she is going to send out the paperwork. I think it is do-able but I will discuss with OH when he gets home from work.

I have completed another VO survey for a £1

3.80 added to grocery spends total so far £115.27

    morning all

Not much to report I've not been feeling too good since yesterday, typical when I am back to work tomorrow.

Had a NSD yesterday, just because I didn't have the energy to get off the couch.

Need to go to shops today but I will try to keep it to a minimum.

    Have a good day all
