Morning all
Hugs to everyone especially Kiwichik, singledom is not as bad as it's painted hun!
Had a bad day at work yesterday, nearly walked out but for needing the job so badly. This is what comes of a highly organised person working for someone who is totally disorganised! It's driving me mad with frustration.0 -
Good Morning All
oops a daisy- hope things pick up for you soon (((hugs))), I have found in the past with recruitment agencies, you have to keep phoning them, they are quick enough to get you on their books and promise the earth, but out of at least 4 agencies here. Only 1 gave me an interview for a job!
Ref the car, I would start small (depends on your family situation & finances as to how much you can afford),something Like a fiesta or a clio! Smaller engine, cheaper tax & insurance! Ask around friends/family,
catzine- sound like your having a great time!
twink- your a godsend to Kyle for helping out with the LO. Do you fancy 2 more! age 11 & 7, I will fetch them when they are 16! :rotfl:
Happy Birthday to Sweet Pea - have a great day!
Donny-gal - Its been at least 2yrs since I was on a plane, we hope to go Turkey in August, I have heard ref the changes in baggage allowance etc, and what you can/cant take on the plane. Any advise, I would appreciate! Thanks
Been up ages, no thanks to the kids bickering! Despite threats of being grounded, they have persisted. So they are grounded now!
A lady should be coming at 3.50pm to fetch an item from freecycle. Then I have to fetch DD new glasses from town. Then off to fetch a new cat bed, for Charlie for his arrival.
I started filling in my passport last night. Its annoying when they want to know your parents passport details, date of issue, DOB & date they was married. Ive got the info from mum, but as for dad - well! Ive left it blank. I could use that as an excuse to go and visit him. But I feel thats all I'll be going for, and I dont want to think that of me!
Right best be off and take DD to school. DS seems to be coping well with the SATS.
Catch you later

Thanks for all the support you lot, you've made me cry! Pathetic female that I am. Things here are awful, my bulimia is rampant which makes me feel worse. Have been hospitalised twice in the last 6 weeks because of it. Ah well, the kids are OK at least. I WILL be opening an account of my own, just going to do some research about where is best.

Morning all
Kiwi - Hugs to you - hope things start to improve for you. I never had the foresight to start a seperate account before I left exH, luckily I had friends and family to help me out until money got sorted.
The house looks like a tip this morning, washing hanging everywhere and the cats both seemed to shed their entire coats over night.....best I crack on with the hoover me thinks.
The kitchen is tidy, I've shined my sink and the recycling is all out awaiting the bin men - I've actually got it down to one black sack this week :j and the rest is all recycleable.
The bedroom looks like a rather large bomb's hit it, mainly as half the wardrobe is on the bed. Been doing my Paul McKenna "I can make you think" book and CD for 9 days now and.............drum roll please.................. I've dropped a dress sizeI'm amazed, I bought myself a pair of jeans yesterday to celebrate (reduced to £4 because the zip was coming unstitched - took 2 mins to sort). I'm very pleased with the results and will continue with it.
Must get some pizza dough in the BM, we're off to Pontins on Friday for a long weekend so need some ready made bits to take with us - looking forward to the break.
Hope you all have a great day.:j"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

everyone.
It's drizzly here at the moment, allthough it has been bucketing down earlier, good for the garden and the veggies though!!
OH is feeling very bruised and bashed about today so when I am done here he is going to have a sleep on the settee (not allowed to use the stairs at the mo) and maybe watch a Harry Potter film. The consultant has told him that there is a deterioration in the valve and that it is likely that it will need replacing within the next 2 years. They plan to go in and have another look in 6 months and that may well be when they decide to operate as it is deteriorating rather quickly. In the meantime he is no longer allowed to lift anything remotely heavy and has to stay on light duties when he is back at work.
The 2 eldest have gone on the school trip today to the local bird sanctuary and have been looking forward to it. I believe that there will be bug hunts, worm collecting competitions and of course bird watching. Sounds lovely
I have the LO at home today as there is no preschool with the trip and that will limit what I can get done. The plan though is to do the usual top to toe with the hoover, swish and swipe the kitchen and bathroom. 1 wash needs doing and I will have to use the tumbler today. Os meals are out as it is OH's birthday and we are going to have a chinese takeaway.oh well, never mind I will suffer in silence and pretend to enjoy it. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
to everyone in need today especially to kiwichick and oops a daisy.
Happy Birthday sweet pea.
Right the sooner I finish here the sooner he can get his head down, see you all later.

Hi.
Do not know if you remember but i was going to have a no spend day yesterday.
Just to let you know that i did it :j . it was harder than i thought mind.
I also, due to the inspiration on OS board, cooked my first chicken casserole from scratch.
Well that was a great move. Liked by all and i even had the complement that it tastes better than the jar we normally use. For that i thank you all :T
Not much to report today. Raining hard so a nice day to tidy indoors.
Hope you all have a good day.
