I didn't get round to sorting the bingo dosh! Or frittering £12 away to win my £30k! Turns out I lose the £12 if I withdraw.

If I get to £126 in the bingo I get to KEEP the £12.60... So think about leaving it in and ploughing on... hmmm...

Wrote a big detailed post how I made a bit of a wedding present and sourced the other part for half the price than in the shops, basically now have a present that should cost around £65 but cost me £25. But I deleted it, and I'm not writing it again!

I also... IRONED wrapping paper today! Saw it on some frugal living thing. Was in perfect condition but all crumpled! Only works with certain paper though and considering I'm about to crinkle it all up again - I don't care! Honestly, if I get the right paper, I'm doing it every single time from now on! I don't care how scaffy it makes me!

Took some ribbon of the wedding invite I got, gorgeous and thinking that will be getting reused aswell!

Love collecting these things but OH and I have decided we are moving abroad after the wedding! Obviously depending on cash situation, likely Australia. So now I'm thinking I actually I'll need to start using up these ribbons etc that I've been collecting!!! People will be getting some fancy wrapped presents from me for the rest of this year! X

Flying visit agin! And being rude and not catching up on other diaries!

Still trying to finish off wedding present (the wrapping/presentation).

Made another big pot of veg chilli! It's my staple dish now when veg is not fresh! Chuck it in slow cooker, tom pur!e, garlic, chilli and some paprika! Easy peasy!

Off work and it chores today! In laws coming at weekend! Ha!

My friend called me today telling me that her best mate has given Her a terrible terrible birthday present. They are both the super cheap ones so as bad as each other! Shes going to send me a picture. I'm thinking I gave her a present that someone gave me, but I actually gave her a really nice present and because I thought it was more her style and that she would really like! Although part of me actually resented giving her a nice present, BUT I would not have worn it! Repeat! Saved money and decluttered.

But on that note I'm going to use my ironed wrapping paper to wrap the dress and earrings I'm going to regive at Christmas! I think you should only regive if it is something you would actually get them! Or it's something you know they would like! Unless you really dislike them! One of the present I actually bought for me but have ne'er worn and my sister in law would love it! It's vintage style!

My wedding headdress has 10% off at the minute so I need to order that just now! It's expensive and designer and costs £200 so 10% is £20!!! It's the one and i don't know why i haven't ordered it but am delighted i didn't! I'm not wearing any jewellery except for that and earrings so don't mind spending more on it! I'm not a bracelet fan and my engagement ring is going to be my jewellery on my other hand!

That's it for my flying visit! Will catch up on other diaries on Sunday! Xx

Am dying to know how the botox went! Did you notice a big difference???
Debts: Credit Card: €6000 ---> €5050 Feb 25 \ Overdraft: Step 3/100

• Hi All,

I've been SUPER busy for the last 10 days! How much money can someone spend in 10 days? Lets find out...

This is NOT a good post, I have been BAD BAD BAD again, and know-one is able to make me feel better this time.

Spending:
Girls weekend: £300 minimum (that's from memory)
Shoes: £80 (Kurt Geiger)
Bag: £82 (Wedding day bag - does not count)
ISA Savings £50
Shoes: £40 (Dune)
Dress: £20 (Hybrid)
Clothes dye: £20
Earrings £11 (EBay shop)
Scarf: £12 (Friend B.day)
Mum lunch: £10
Mum coffee: £10
Brother coffee & Cake: £10
Sister 1 Lunch: £15
Sisters 2 Coffee: £5
Lunch today: £5
Vintage trousers: £4
Vintage skirt: £4
Mini hatinator: £4
Shoes re-heeled: £2
Primark top: £1

TERRIFYING TOTAL (AND THAT'S ONLY WHAT I CAN REMEMBER): £683

I went away with the girls for a weekend as I was off work and spent a small fortune. I have only saved £50 this month. And that is into my ISA not even my wedding savings.

I am certain I have spent more, as I do not get paid for another 2 weeks and I only have APPROX £90 to last me. The rest will come back to me I am sure!!!

Slipping back to old ways alert:

What is worrying more than anything is the lunches, coffee and cake with my sisters & brother (not my mum), I am going back to my over generous ways again when I offer to pay for lunch or coffees which comes to £10-£15. Petrol in a crazy world would have absolute max cost £5. But they have brand new super efficient cars so more likely £1.

Then I was out with my sisters and buying them coffees when were were bridesmaid dress shopping, I am already spending a fortune on them, I don't need to be adding coffees to it!!!

My brother is fly, I was out with him and said I would pay so he added a syrup to his coffee and ordered a cake aswell. Then he has the cheek to email me this morning saying I owe him £6 for something else. As is my mother who was having a pot of tea, until I said I would pay then she said she wanted a roll that as soon as we sat down she said she wasn't hungry and she took home for later (she had not intention of eating it). I think this is why I am flash - I rebel against the cheap family.

I'm telling you this is how I ended up in debt, I used to do this all the time before, pay for the coffees & cake, pay for the lunch at £40. Pay for it all and no-one very rarely offered to do it back.

I'm very angry at myself, I've done this 3 times in the last 10 days. Once was a treat, 3 times I am a MUG. You may not remember my previous rants but they all have alot more money than me, especially my brother. And they are all nearly or trying to be mortgage free.

I don't want to be stingy with my family but at the same time I need to just pay my share and not be this crazy flash with cash person.

Positives:

The only positive I am taking is that I have not ended up in more debt...yet. But I need to map out the next 2 weeks expenses. So I actually think I might need to dip into either savings or my credit card as I have 2 weddings, 2 nights out and my mates birthday in next 2 weeks.

Also that I spent £20 on black and navy clothes dye so that should sprouse up some clothes and some white undies that are looking a little grey...(saw that on superscrimpers).

I've gave a bag of clothes to charity shop, all new, with tags and some gorgeous shoes that were worn once but CRIPPLE ME. They are a bit too "young" anyway. I am getting better a chucking stuff out and using stuff up. If I am not going to wear it or do not even want to wear it, no matter if it was free, I need to get rid of it. CLEAN HOUSE CLEAN MIND.

Anyway I am still working through toiletries. I've decided I am going to note them down each week so I not what is next on the hit list, this week on the list, I will be using these items every day until they are finished. Every day. I will be using that colour of nailvarnish and eyeshadow until they run out.

1) Mac grey eye shadow (this will take some time, but its an individual and not a palette one)
2) Remainder of Mac eyeliner pot
3) Half a brown nails inc nail varnish
4) 3 half opened miniature perfumes
5) Remainder of pink blusher
6) Remainder of mascara
7) Clinique body lotion (not every day)
8) L'Occitane body lotion (not every day)
9) Boots moisture face mask (use every night)
10) Soap and glory face wash

I really want to start getting through these quicker. Now that we are planning to go abroad I can't bear the thought of taking like 20 nail varnishes with me and 10 palettes of eye shadows.

Also going to sew some socks. Judge away, I spend a fortune on clothes but dye my underwear and sew socks? Well the thing is no-one ever really sees my socks. If I can get them to last me until we go abroad and then I will just bin them all!

Anyway long and kind of angry rant over xx
• Hello

You have been busy - and very bad!! :naughty: These things happen but at least you can see where (most of) your money has gone!
What is worrying more than anything is the lunches, coffee and cake with my sisters & brother (not my mum), I am going back to my over generous ways again when I offer to pay for lunch or coffees which comes to £10-£15.

Then I was out with my sisters.....

My brother is fly .... As is my mother .....

:naughty:
Ok. This has got to be stopped!!! Preferably NOW!!! ;)

What I would suggest is that if you are meeting mum/bro/sisters for coffee, then only take a small amount of cash with you so that you can only pay for your own coffee. No drinks for anybody else. And certainly no grub! They're taking advantage of you, simple as that. Don't let them! It wouldn't be quite so bad if you and them took turns at paying or something, but it appears it is only you. Seriously - don't do it!!
Also going to sew some socks. Judge away, I spend a fortune on clothes but dye my underwear and sew socks? Well the thing is no-one ever really sees my socks. If I can get them to last me until we go abroad and then I will just bin them all!

• Thanks so much Head Above Water! Especially when I gave been neglecting others diaries! Shame on me!

They are taking advantage, I don't think they are being nasty about it, but the age old "give someone an inch they will take a mile" applies HUGELY to my family!!!

I used to get angry and blame them but I am the MUG it is me who is angry at myself I need to STOP! My mum I don't count as she does pay it back all the time, plus its my mum! Brother is the worst and sisters are both as bad!

I really really like your suggestion, that way I'm paying my way (so not feeling cheap) and then I don't need to pay them!

So i'll just be like...I've only got £3 or I'd buy you one, or I've only got £3, here get me a latte when you are ordering! Or I might even just say just you get yours, I'm on a budget and don't want anyone paying for me, reverse psych, like I want to not let them pay when I'm really saying I'm not paying for you!

Hi Castlelouge! I post and ran earlier and missed it!

No Botox this month due to spending (hanging head in shame) but since I have purchased a lot of clothes that will be my treat next month! Will update all once its done!

Thanks everyone xxx

Forgiven and forgotten ;):)

Would agree with this one! No coffee is ever gonna cost too much for me to buy for mum and/or dad, if you get me. They brought me up. A coffee is a small thing in comparison!! lol :D

Bingo! Starting today, use this with your bro and sis. You're not asking them to buy for you, but it would be nice if they at least offered, but stick to your £3 or whatever it is. Be firm and don't give in :D

Next month!! ;)

I'm debating getting laser hair removal! Started treatments a few years back but I ran outta money and the company closed down! Def made a huge difference though.
Have found somewhere local - finally! Consultation is £25. Area is £100. If I buy 6 its £550 I think. But if I buy at the consultation I get it for £475!! It is possible I'll get addicted and want to do the rest of my body too, but will leave that for again!! lol :)

• Ohhh I've thought about it before aswell! My friend got it done and she's was quite "hairy" and he swears by it! Says although in some areas it has not fully removed it but has drastically reduced it! Says even the stuff still there takes days to come in!!!

Yeh I'm still a little miffed about it, exactly re the mum I always offer to pay her and my dad! But I'm done with brother and sisters! Cheeky bums that they are! I'm actually thinking aswell about taking a coin purse when out with tem so I can hide my change when I got out (we would all go into each others purse) and then I will always only have £3 - Ohhh dear what is it coming to!!!

Forgot my gym clothes today so decided to pop into Specsavers to get my free glasses! I remember before (spenaholic days) I came in for my free pair and bought two pairs at £85 each and a free pair at £45!!! NOT TODAY!!! Today I got and stuck to the free ones! :D
• Also costed getting lenses replaced and it is £39!!!! So MIGHT get one pair of old glasses that I like new lenses IF OH and I go abroad!

Also went in an got a spare pair of contacts as they are part of the scheme! My last ones got a tear in them so only lasted 2 weeks instead of a month! X
• So dilemma! Now that I am back on track I'm trying not to throw my money away.

So I am going away again on another weekend, need to get to the airport! Now all the girls are meeting up and getting a taxi but I need to work in morning so I am either going to get Train or Bus.

Train is £3.50 - but a mile walk to the airport

Bus is £6.00 - but stops at terminal entrance

So I'm thinking I should get train and walk but I don't know how I will be for time and I don't really know where I am going.

But with that £2.50 that is a coffee at the airport!!!

I'm getting bus purely did time reasons but I feel like I'm being lavish again haha! X
