Walking to work!

Wasn't prepared today so just made sandwiches with cheese and tomato! Got a wee OJ, apple and packet of sunbites!
Before if hadn't prepared something healthy I would just buy lunch but was determined I wasn't buying anything today!
Yesterday was not an no spend day
I go away with girls tomorrow so stocked up on some M&S treats for it! Also treated myself to a diet coke because of the HEATWAVE Glasgow is having! But only spent like £6.80 so it wasn't THAT bad! Plan to not need to actually but anything tomorrow except some coffee maybe? X 0 -

Hey Kittycatfan! :j
Not at all wedding is 1st of March 2014 so a while away or quite close depending how you look at it!
Huge Congratulations on the overdraft! I wanted mine to nil but same as you still dipping into the £300! But as you say that is what it is there for! Not worth the worry and stress! If you need to dip into it do it, just don't go mental... That is where my problems came from! Ha!
I was up to midnight last night doing housework as OH parents are visiting tonight! Only found out last night at 10pm! Been told twice today I look tired! Probably because I was doing dishes and washing at 11.45pm!

Well just back from my girls weekend in Belfast and am shattered! All round was a cheaper weekend than I thought it was going to be.
Took 230 EUROS to spend and put the hotel on my credit card. So £85 on credit card and I have came back with about 80 EUROs so drum roll... spent approx. £225.
Didn't spend anything to take over, was all stuff I had. Wee took some wine and spirits aswell.
Delighted I came back with anything! We all had cheeky wee hip flasks though, so think that saved some serious pennies. Think I am going to take one to all the weddings I go to from now on! And any other nights out I can get away with! I go away again 1st weekend in September so that 80 Euros will be going there. I also am certain I have another 20 Euros in my house so going to hunt for that! 100 Euros total!
Got a letter from my contact lenses that I am entitled to a free pair of glasses on my scheme, up to £45, I called them and they were pushing the £120 glasses that I can get for £25 instead so will wait and see. I might push the boat out and get the designers but last time I actually preferred the free pair!
I also have a pair from before that I love, so going to check out how much it will cost to get the lenses changed - is that possible? I wonder how much it will cost. I would like to have 2 pairs of glasses though. Hopefully it is super cheap.
On that note I forgot to mention the last time that I went from daily contact lenses (£22 a month) to monthly contact lenses (£13 a month). High Five.
Had a works team building day today, so i spent £4.10 on my lunch
Gutted I wasn't organised enough to bring in lunch! Drive home though was tempted to nip in and get a wee treat for a cuppa - but I resisted and had some cake that was in the house! Hard to get back into the habbit of not spending when I have just spend 4 days of non stop spending!
Also as hubby is away with work for the next week, so took out some spag bol from the freezer and think I will have that the next 2 nights with some garlic bread we have, got some peppers that have looked better that I am going to cook to add in to bulk it up (and so they don't go to waste). DONE!
Now - need to sort out something for my lunches. Think I will need to cave and buy something for them. Cannot be bothered so might just settle for some sandwiches! Or even buy some soup (lazy I know) and have some sandwiches.
NOW time for another cuppa! Just watched super scrimpers and now watching the real housewives of Beverly Hills! Both are is inspiring - Ha! Ironically the beverly hills housewives are inspiring me more to clear the debt.
I'm just sitting here thinking I want to work my way through my crap!!! I will not buy new clothes, or toiletries, or makeup or jewellery. I want to be left with a lovely little collection of nice sunglasses, clothes and jewellery that I wear and have purchased debt free and picked the ones that i want and not settled on the cheapest because I couldn't afford the ones I wanted!
I'm still also trying to revamp my style and copy my stalkee and another mate, who don't follow trends or buy crazy patterned things or anything! They buy classic simple items and mix and match them up with accessories. THIS IS WHO I WANT TO BE!!! A simple dress mixed up with amazing earrings or necklace and bag, shoes and jacket etc!
Sorry - this is a repeat but I need to remind myself these things. Over and over and over again. Until i stop needing to TELL myself and just do it!!!
Anyway I have a M&S voucher that needs to be used up. Was supposed to go to a wedding present but I can't find anything I would like to buy or within budget so It is going on a necklace I have saw - hope its still there!!! Is not on the website. I was going to buy one of the big leather weekender bags. But I just do not have the money and I kind of don't NEED it, that is on my fancy Beverly Hills buy list!
Anyway thats all I can think of rambling! May come back with more! xx0 -
So updates.
I have £6 M&S vouchers, think my necklace was £15. So £9 out of pocket. But part of larger necklace plan....mwahahaha. I so hope its still there! Refused to buy it without the vouchers but in hindsight I should have bought it then taken it back and repurchased with the vouchers!
Dinner tonight is spag bol and half a garlic baguette. Hopefully will have enough left for some lunch tomorrow or I will take some soup in or a wrap and buy some salad and hummus.
Dinner tomorrow night is left over tomatoes, an onion, some frozen sweetcorn, a sad looking pepper, tin of tomatoes, tin of mixed beans! Chucked in a slow cooker with some chilli and paprika & tom puree etc. Add some rice, I'm now having mixed bean chilli!
Had to use up the tomatoes, pepper and onion or they were for the bin. Not fresh enough for salad but fresh enough for chilli. Found some opened creme fresh, salsa and guacamole, all still in date, but were opened on Thursday soooooo not sure how they will be but might try them with the chilli....worst case they still get the bin. Plus huge amounts of chilli so will easily do 2 nights. Maybe freeze and then have on Friday night with some cheese and other half of garlic bread.
Whilst raiding I also found some mozzarella that goes out of date on 18th, with some frozen sausages, tin of tomatoes and pasta. So also going to make some sausage pasta bake
Also have a M&S chocolate log that goes out of date on the 21st soooo think i will just NEED to have a slice of that each day
Currently using up my quarter of my mates birthday cake so will have a slice of that tonight with yet another cuppa!
Tah Dah! I have 4 nights meals and have not had to go to the supermarket! They actually sound yummy aswell!
Well done me. Well done.0 -
Had some yummy spag bol, with some garlic bread and parmesan cheese.
Now sitting eating my cake and tea watching The Big Bang Theory!
To top off what I have deemed a good day, I had signed up to a mobile phone bill monitoring site quite a while ago, when I left o2 I got a "final" bill. But the bill monitor site kept checking to compare and informed me that there was a message on my account saying I might be entitled to a refund. SO I filled in the form with O2 and sure enough I just got an email that I am entitled to £27! I thought my last bill of £55 quid was unbelievably high but I think it will be as I had to pay a month in advance and my contract ending means I only used like 7 days of that month!
Awoohoooo xx0 -
Well done you indeed!!
I have some lovely necklaces and shoes that dress up plain outfits really well. Think that's because when you are a fat lass having a meltdown while clothes shopping that nothing fits or looks nice, shoes and necklaces will always fit so become the main purchases :rotfl::rotfl:.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Well exactly! I want to take my favourite black dress and mix it up!
Hair up, pony tail, knecklace etc. Or hair down, big earrings, blazer!
I have some amazing dresses - for when I lose weight! When not IF!!!
My cake may help the bank balance but not my waist

Eeek just realised that may have read like I was inferring you were the fat lass when I 100% meant me

Sorry sorry sorry sorry.
Will find a rock I can crawl under when I get my foot out of my mouth

Your apologies are not welcome here PLMBL! Do NOT be so silly!!!
Just counted the extra Euros I had and I actually had 50 Euros. So now have 130 Euros for my next trip - whoohooo! Our hotel is all inclusive so don't think I will actually change anymore? Place is expensive but all inclusive that should be enough for 3 days. Will take my credit card just incase.
I also have 25 Euros that is technically OH's so going to see if I can get away with snaffling them from him! That would take me to 155 Euros.
