I followed your post!
Still no response in relation to my sister but I will keep you updated!Currently in a Protected Trust Deed - 23 payments until DEBT FREE - February 20270 -
Email received from CISAS today ; they've acknowledged my claim so the wheels are in Motion. T-Mobile have 10 days to respond
EDIT: Response to my sister's claim ;
Further to your email dated 10 January 2014, regarding the above account.
As advised in my email dated 10 January the Price Increase is not covered under the Ombudsmen scheme. For this reason I am unable to issue a deadlock reference number in relation to the above.
Due to the above, you would need to seek independent advise.
I trust this clarifies our final position in this matter.
Yours sincerely

Ok, finally got a reply from my 'friend':Case Reference: xxxxxxx

Dear xxxxxxx,
Thank you for your further email.
I am glad we have reached an understanding in relation to the 3.3% figure. To confirm, this was lowered to 3.2% as a business decision made in association with Ofcom. As this was a business decision, I would be unable to confirm the reason it was lowered or why the figure 3.2% was decided. As this is lower than the 3.3% RPI, the figure of 3.2% is valid.
I trust this information is of assistance.
Yours sincerely

That's funny, I don't recall reaching an understanding? :huh::huh:
So not only are EE deciding what is and isn't material detriment, they're now deciding when an agreement has been reached!! These really are a bunch of clowns!
By the way, this is in response to the email I sent the clowns:Case Reference: xxxxxxx

Dear Mr Swantee,
Thank you for your latest reply, and for confirming that the figure of 3.3% that you keep referring to actually refers the month of January 2013 as per your quote:
"using the latest available RPI figure of 3.3% published 12 February 2013"
While we are on the subject of RPI, could you also confirm when the figure of 3.2% RPI comes from that you also refer to that is "below published RPI"?
Thanks.
Utter, utter clowns. I really wish prospective EE customers could read the manure these clowns talk. Thank god for social media!0 -

Absolute joke! I will never ever use them for the rest of my life.
Received a few letters from them recently trying to get me to take out their broadband service. I get 60meg with Virgin and they are offering 2meg..... Pass (and thats not because of the speed!)

Seems that EE are trying to say they are still using January, but have lowered to 3.2% rather than the 3.3% - I thought this might be where they might head, but no fear - I have response which we can use when it goes to CISAS.
Two choices now:- leave it until the 8 weeks are up - and then go to CISAS Or
- Push for confirmation of where the 3.2% comes from as you can't see how it is lower than 2.6% which is the percentage the contract allows when they contacted you with a price variation in November.

Off subject I know, but I used Orange Broadband for a year - and no longer!!! The 2megs they offered was for 90% of the time less than 0.5meg! - Dial up would have been quicker, and forget trying to use iplayer/Netflix etc. Needless to say I moved provider at the earliest opportunity! The only upside was with £100 cashback I got from Quidco it was only costing about £1 a month, but for what I got even that was overpriced.0 -

On balance, I think I'll wait for the 8 weeks. I'm tired of trying to get any sense out of them! :mad:
When you say 8 weeks, I assume you mean 8 weeks from the initial email I sent to them? :cool:0 -
Has anyone found anyone working for EE - who actually responds to Emails ?0
