Just wanted to check something. Ive got to reply to CISAS by the 24th September to advise whether I accept their decision or not.

If I replied on the 20th Sepetember, and then waited 30 days for T-Mobile to get in touch before using my PAC, does that really mean I could have a free service until at least the 20th October?

Part of the ruling was for T-Mobile to refund any charges incurred since the 9th May. Im in no rush to get a new phone/contract at the moment and if I can get away with another two months free line rental on behalf of T-Mobile it seems like a bonus!

Just playing them at their own game! :rotfl:

I'm currently enjoying the free Service from TM.

I'm not intending to hang it out too long, I was just waiting for my unlock codes.

However, I've just chased them today after the Max 20 days is up for the Unlock Codes and it seems they had failed to request them.

"It maybe another week" I was told...so I'll just carry on enjoying the free service for a bit longer!

I requested an unlock code in May which took over the 20 days and I'm awaiting another unlock code which the 20 days was up Yesterday.

My belief is that them saying it'll take up to 20 days and me agreeing to pay on these terms is a contract which they have breached.

I've therefore asked them to refund my money or I'll be looking to go down the CISAS/Small Claims route
  • well just a little update on my case win, tmobile were given a deadline for the 7th of august to pay, now the 20th and still no sign of it, despite me emailing carmel codd (she confirmed refund was requested on the 6th lol) not heard back from guy perring,
so just playing the waiting game zzzzz

Apparently Guy Perring is off until 3 Sept so you're stuck with Carmel Codd for now.

From looking at their Facebook and Twitter pages you are one of many. Everyone is complaining about the time they're taking. Quote 20 days to get your money and then forget about you :(

yup just got an email from carmel codd saying that refund as been made and cleared on the 19th of august...having checked my online account and then ringing my bank to confirm this, low and behold No refund as been made,

having just rung carmel codd, it goes to voicemail lol the saga continues
  • is/as anyone gone down small claims court route? if so how much do you have to pay, and what are the chances with the CISAS ruling (case won) behind you will you win the case in court?

just recieved this clearly just more lies and more delaying tactics , checked with my bank and nothing was put in

    "Dear Sir

As advised, I am awaiting confirmation from our finance team as our records show that this has cleared on the 19th. The finance team are investigating this and liaising with the bank for clarification and once received I will revert back to you"
  • I rang Carmel earlier today,
and one of her colleagues from the Legal Team rang me back within 20 minutes.
They promised that I would be refunded within 28 days.

    Lol

will have to wait and see, she didn't take to kindly to my choice of the English language and my slagging off towards ee
