It's been a month since I started using my O.B.A. account.
Very slow month for me, particularly the last 10 days, I spent around £500 on postage though so should easily meet the requirements.
So far 1 lost item, touch wood, which cannot be claimed for (funny how lost items never seem to make their way back to me!).
My main problem has been getting enough mailing sacks, and having to take almost empty sacks to the P.O. - today is a typical day for me, I have 9 orders split into Large Letters, small parcels, European orders and Overseas orders, each has to have it's own giant bag, I feel a bit silly dropping them off!0 -
Just in case anyone hasn't noticed, I see that OBA will be unavailable this coming weekendCustomer notice: OBA will be unavailable between 22:00hrs Saturday 11th May and 23:59hrs on Sunday 12th May 2013 for essential maintenance. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.
(Just as I become able to use it :rotfl::beer:)
Also, can I ask - how is everyone doing their PPIs? Printing them yourselves or did you get a load printed off professionally? (And if the latter, any recommendations?)They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -

I used these guys: http://www.ppi-labels.co.uk/
They also have an ebay shop0 -
If you have a thermal printer RM will supply labels free of charge, you can then use DMO (Dispatch Manager Online) RM's software for printing the label.
Your DMO keeps a copy of each address you have sent to, you don't need to enter it into OBA and you have the added bonus of selecting addresses, so can see if the buyer has made a mistake on their delivery address.0 -

I think I'm going to order from these guys too.
Although that's a great tip re. thermal printer, will have to look into the ins and outs of those. What sort of consumables do you need with them apart from the labels? They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -

Nothing at all.
You buy the printer, Royal Mail supply the labels and as it's thermal there is no ink.
I use a Zebra. They aren't cheap but considering labels are then free etc, mine has been going about 4 years (of hard graft) since we changed systems.0 -
