thank you, for suggesting, and starting this thread:T:T:T

I am at the stage where they have sent me the email, with the terms an conditions:eek: and the direct debit mandate. all this is still subject to a credit check.

From recieving the email, all being well with everything, how long does it take for the ppi number and being able to log in an start trying to make sense of it all:D

It took 5 days for me from receiving the email saying that my application was being processed, to it being live.

Just wondering how everyone is doing with their applications...
I am still without the bags, and having to go every other day to the sorting/post office in the next village to collect more.
Other than that going well - making good savings on u.k. parcels, particularly the heavy/large ones.

I have had the email through etc, and before i act on it,

I was in a diff post office yesturday, and she was saying for the OBA its a 1000 of 'each' 24, 48, letter, special etc..

I just wanted to confirm it is a mixture of 24 and 48 to add up to 1000 or over per year

Think they might be 'scarmongering' a bit, as they are losing out big time..

Its not a 1000 of each. Why post office staff comment on the business services I don't know as they rarely know the facts!

Look at the wording on page 6 here - http://www.royalmail.com/sites/default/files/RoyalMail_BusinessContractServices_April2013d.pdf

"Royal Mail 24™ and Royal Mail 48™ – an account service for those who send more than 1,000 parcels and or large letters per site per annum."

The adviser I spoke to on the phone also told me it was 1000 of each even though I pointed out the Royal Mail information, she wouldn't budge.

Some businesses only use one class so might only send everything 1st class for example so not sure how their logic works really. Although the requirements were higher for the original PacketPost, it never stated that the quantity had to be met in each class, it was always a combined total.

No, it's the combined total - I went over this at length with the woman from the sales team.

Although they are enforcing a min £5k per annum spend supposedly, which doesn't actually make sense because 1000 parcels don't add up to £5k.
