I thought I felt better this morning, but then I wasn't doing much. I left to go to my mum's, walked all the way down to the car and realised that I'd forgotten my handbag :doh:. Just don't think I'm with it.

Had an email about one of my Gumtree items overnight. The guy said he would buy it next week. I asked him to confirm that he will and when roughly, but he hasn't responded, so until he does, I'm not going to save it for him. I'm going to try and list another 5 items tonight. OH is back tonight so have asked him to get a few things out of the shed.

The guy who emailed me about one of my Gumtree items the other night got back to be last night, but said that he couldn't buy it until 27/28 April. I said that was fine but I won't hold my breath.

OH's parents are descending on us next week. They say it's because it's my birthday on Thursday, but it's really because his mother has the dentist on Tuesday (apparently, they don't have dentists in Somerset). Anyone who has read my previous diaries will know that they are extremely rude most of the time and take over when they come down (OH and I have to vacate our bed, sofa, TV etc). They bailed OH out with money in the past (they don't let him forget it, even though he is paying it back) so OH feels he owes them and bends over backwards to please them (an impossible task).

Anyway, OH said last night that he will tell them they have to sleep on the airbed (very uncomfortable and I can only get 4-5 hours sleep on there usually) as I have a chest infection and need my rest. I was shocked!! He has never stood up to them like this before. I know that he actually has to do it yet though. I will keep you posted.

Hi Emz, I'm a fellow Superhero film geek and a huge tennis fan (going to Wimbledon this year for the first time - mega excited!).

I hope you're feeling better soon - I had a rotten couple of years of constant chest/sinus infections - antibiotics were my best friend! The antibiotics take soo much out of you though so take it easy!

I've subscribed and will follow your journey if that's okay!

Great to have another tennis fan on here. You'll love Wimbledon. It's brilliant. Which court are you on? I went last year with my sister, but we didn't get tickets this year. We're hoping to go to the O2 in November, which is also really good. Just watched Andy Murray lose badly though . Hate it when he loses.

Another movie buff too? I'm looking forward to all the superhero movies coming up, particularly Iron Man 3 and Wolverine.

I'm feeling a bit better thanks, still got a few days left on the stronger antibiotics though (on 3 different kinds at the moment :eek:).

I'm feeling a bit better thanks. My chest doesn't hurt when I breathe in anymore anyway.

He hasn't told them yet, even though he spoke to his mum on the phone last night. He says he's going to tell them when they get here. I think I can see some flying pigs out of the window!!

Geez, I'm mega tired this afternoon. Even Pepsi isn't doing the trick today .

The flat deposit fund will hopefully get underway on Saturday. 2 people are supposed to be coming over for a couple of things on Saturday morning. That will start us off with £40. Got other people coming for 2 items later on next week, so that will add another £10 hopefully. Might try and muster up the energy to put some more on there tonight.
