In my 33rd year, it's time to get cracking...

It's nearly 3pm and I've only done 32 questions . A voice in my head keeps telling me to leave it for today and catch up over the rest of the month, and then a louder voice shouts NO!! (don't worry, I'm not hearing voices). I need a list of targets to meet:

Between 3pm-4pm = 45 questions
Between 4pm-5pm = 60 questions
Between 5pm-6pm = 75 questions

Then I will go home and that leaves me 25 questions for this evening, which I should be able to do before 8pm.

Going to have my cake and then stick to those targets.

I wrote a really long reply this morning when I'd caught up, but it's gone

I think the general gist of it was that I worked for AQA back in the day, and I know what you mean about the questions. Have you worked on the night of a talent show final? I made £60 an hour answering 'Who won the X-Factor?' one year. That's 200 questions!

Then I talked about weight loss for your OH but I cba to type it all again. The gist of that was 'I'm fat too' lol.

I really admire (cough, am jealous of) your self employed work. I'm not in a position to do it again yet (although I'm working on that!) and I LOVED the challenge of trying to make the money. Long term I hope that my blog is successful enough to earn me a bit of income, alongside MS, etc. I think you'd do well with a blog about your health, because it is something not everyone writes about.

Thanks Emma. AQA has changed a lot since the good old days. The questions take longer now as a lot of them are 'who is.....from.....' type questions. They are driving me nuts TBH.

Up to 50 now, so I am still on target. I think this is working, so I want to do a little timetable for tomorrow. I'm on auntie duties for the next couple of days, so here are my proposed times:

9am-10am - 15 questions
10am-11am - 30 questions
11am-12pm - 45 questions
12pm-1pm - lunch
1pm-2pm - 60 questions
2pm-3pm - 75 questions
3pm-4pm - collect niece from school
4pm-5pm - 90 questions
5pm-6pm - 100 questions

I think that's very doable and would give me a free evening.

Anyway, back to the questions.

I'm round my mum's now. I found a penny in the car park, so picked it up (find a penny....) and have just received an email to say I've won 1,000 Nectar points :T. I know it's only £5, but I'm really pleased .
