Sorry just noticed..
I use 8 pork spare ribs...(Not bacon ribs)

3 chopped garlic cloves
1 tbl spoon of chopped fresh coriander
6 tbl palm sugar (or light brown)
7 tbl of tomato sauce (ketchup)
2 tbl light soy sauce
2tbl oyster sauce
1tbl ground pepper
3fresh chillies finely chopped (or dried)

MIX....fridge for 12 hrs...then 180 for 1hr 15 mins but i do a bit more turning over as necessary as you want meat falling of the bone...I cover for first 3/4 hr ..

I personally think it is thoughtful...and hopeful all at the same time!

Saying that, I would be much more in mind to have bedroom antics if I came home to a prepared meal as I wouldn't be so stressed and tired because the hassle of doing it would have been taken away. It would relax me enough to actually think about it!

Most woman do a similar thing, either to put the other half in a better mood if we have overspent on something, or because we are after something.....

Well good ladies and gents ! Came home from work at 1230 am.nobody up then found a note in the dining room "thanks for dinner it was lovely and a great surprise,come to bed soon as you're showered xxxx

Crept into the bedroom to be wowed by a snoring figure fast asleep ! So the moral is "don't count your chickens etc........... Tomorrow night ill go for the wine/alcohol option!

No there was 4 of us and DD, 8 dislikes them to, she hates bones! lol, I have cooked loads of times and he has said "i'll have some later" and hasn't, but i didn't throw a hissy fit!
