I would not give a thankyou for a chicken salad this weather, now something hot and spicy just might do the trick and if you lay the table nicely, dont forget the candles and a bottle of wine, but then again she just might think what the hell you have been up to and not talk to you for a week.

I love shopping and cooking.. I made cheese and onion quiche earlier.
Then put some Thia spare ribs into a marinade.
    And i do a six mile walk between 10 and 12...Jesus i am superman..:T
    No wonder i sleep;)

It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

I think if I came home to dinner made I'd appreciate it, but it certainly wouldn't "light by fire" if I'm up for it, I'm up for it, but a salad every once in a blue moon certainly is a recipe for lurrrvvvveeee.

Not surprised he didn't speak to you for a few days! Maybe I'm missing something, but what's wrong with chicken drumsticks - they're just small not-very-meaty chicken leg portions aren't they?

The limit of my DH's culinary prowess is Dairylea on toast btw, though he does make a good cup of tea :rotfl:

The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

I would have thought that drumsticks would be best suited to a salad lol, not a sunday roast!:o
