Your partnership/marriage must be in a sorry state if you have to make her a chicken salad to get your way.It doesn't sound like she's interested in you and you sound like you have no idea about contributing in an equal relationship. You should be making the tea anyway no strings attached.
You know that you have hands dont you?0 -

:whistle:The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0 -

If I had a salad made for me, I'd probably go off on one; think I'm too fat for real food???
But then I really, really hate salad. I'd rather have a casserole, especially if its been made 3 hours before I finished work.Noli nothis permittere te terere

I am loving this thread, and whilst I appreciate it is all light hearted... sometimes grown up life gets in the way of rampant wild slutty sex... (or even boring monotonous sex)... so to have those grown up chores done for me would improve the chances of some loving, both in terms of my mood and in terms of finding the time! :rotfl:
So therefore:
1)is this wrong? Hell No!
2)is this forward thinking? Hopefully!!
3)is this being kind and thoughtful? Yes!
4)or should I be honest with myself and admit to being a "cunning, devious, soul who should be damned? All of the above!0 -
You made a salad in the hope your wife will reward you with sex?!
:rotfl:
Jeez...I must be hard work! Making me a salad would not turn me on in the slightest!
But to be fair, I know a few women who use "Steak and Bl*w J*b Night" to get something (usually something expensive) out of their men so both sexes manipulate to get what they want.
Good Luck
ETA: TBH, I've been single that long that if I don't cook, I don't eat, so making my dinner wouldn't be that much of a big deal to me - I'm fine with cooking for others. Doing some housework/ironing, telling me you'd run me a bath as you thought I deserved a break and a pamper, then offering me a back/shoulder rub.... THEN you might be getting lucky! Told you I was hard work lol.0
