Hi! CrossStitcher and Cross Stitch Collection magazines are looking for home stitchers.

We’re looking for neat stitchers who are able to turn pieces around to tight deadlines, but are also comfortable working on a variety of fabrics such as: evenweave, waste canvas on fabric or felt, perforated paper, plastic canvas and aida.

If you’re interested, please post us 1 - 2 unframed examples of your work, which we will return by RMSD.

Please also include your name, address, telephone number, email address and a brief paragraph about yourself, including your stitching experience and the approximate number of hours you’re available per week.

love the pic of the kittens. My screensaver scrolls through the pics on my computer and occasionally pics of my cat when he was a kitten pops up and he looks so cute ! I also subscribe to the local cat home and they always post a cat of the day. Unfortunately most of them only want a single cat home plus my cat is a grumpy what not (i'm the boss kind of thing) so I don't think we will have any more furry feet pawing round the house anytime soon.

So in stitching news, I'm making good progress with my penguin and I think it will be finished this weekend if I can find time to sit down and stitch. I am not looking forward to the back stitch .... and not sure how well it will stand out as the penguin has been stitched in black so I may use 3 strands of black for the backstitch or may be I will use the memory thread I bought (if I can find it!)

in candy crush news, stuck on level 33 ! like i said the other day, if only I spent as much time stitching as I have done playing candy crush recently!

jeeeezed I'm bored of daddy bear. too many boring blocks of colour..... and plenty of "uniqueness" cause i don't care enough to unpick it.
