Lindsayandmatthew, cute little fathers day design there. Lots of colour changes though in that chair  Think it gives the design a good look though. Will it be put on a card or in an appature?
I am thinking about mounting it onto a card with some nice backing papers and maybe some gems, not too sure yet lolBABY SOPHIE BORN 14/08/08Cross Stitch Cafe member No:37

I started playing candy crush the other day and  I've become a bit addicted... just lost 2 hours to it !! (in between prepping tea/washing up etc). Now if I devoted that much time to my cross stitch.....
I was thinking of starting an i'm addicted to candy crush anonymous (for thread - (for people to bemoan it/share tips perhaps) but not sure which thread this would be best suited to???0 -

I have the candy crush obsession too, not picked up needle in ages as a result (but am at level 258:D)0 -
Mrs. MP - your DS is very talented. :T. Love poppy panel. Looking forward to seeing complete cushion (fabric sounds a real bargain). I think I followed your method of cushion making and was hoping to do something like that for Wine cushion (I'm not really much good at 'normal' stitching I'm afraid
.
keza - welcome to the Cafe :hello:. Love the sampler you are doing - don't forget we love pics to let us see how you are getting on.
shelly - I have played around with the letters on wine and coming to the conclusion the misspelling looks the best. What do you think Maisie M? I'm just avoiding that area atm. Re white thread - there is tons of it in SB and several 'not quite' whites. When you first look at them you think they are all the same - but they have different numbers so they must be different shades (surely). When I stand right back from SB - I think they maybe do show a little with the folds/creases in the fabric, rather than it looking like a huge mass of blank white stitching. The details don't always stand out on my rubbishy photos. Good luck with yours.
BobbisMummy - I think the new WOCS must be due anytime soon. Having tried most of the other mags, I think this one is still my favourite.
winnie - good luck with your decision making re working. Well done on the good stitchy session.
LindseyandMatthew - love fathers day card.
chicky - good luck with your interview.
PaP - thanks for comments on Sleeping Beauty. It is quite large - I think it might be something like 25" x 19" but it is on 11ct which helps. Has 8 A4 sheets - 6 done and 2 still to do. I am enjoying it but having a little break as there is a deadline for Lets Do Wine and MS 12 Days of Xmas whereas SB is just for me. Just block my ears when DH comments that the refurbished bedroom still looks unfinished - I don't say anything now - just gave him one of those looks. Looking forward to seeing your heart update.
Oh well just about time for me to start and get ready - busy day ahead.
Take care everyone,
