    morning everyone

    love your bug chicky

not sure what im stitching next got garden bench out but it looks really fiddy and i cant makehead or tail of which colours are which on the threads, i seem to have one more colour than there is on the list and it doesnt say how many threads of each i should have to give me a clue of which shade is what name. so i could guess start it and run out of one i need a lot of because ive chosen wrongly. GRRR

the next cushion is a counted tapestry panel which once i get going should be ok its just daunting setting the first bit of pattern in.
or i could go back to titanic now the light is better.

    decisions desisions

off to get the boys shifted to school whle i think.

    Morning to all

So many little projects on the go and I can't seem to stick to just one of them.

Stitching some of the mini flowers from Celtic Rose Needlecraft (had to order DMC threads though as the anchor conversions just didn't work together), some initials from an old WOCS (thought I might make bookmarks with patched initials with these but not sure), a larger birth sampler for my son (he'll be 2 in june), Row of Love (falling out of love with this at the moment), ideas for keyrings and coasters every time i open a magazine and so the list goes on.

Someone give me a kick up the proverbial to get something finished please.

Have a great day everyone - off to the dentist this morning to get my sore tooth sorted hopefully

hey everyone, im new on here and just wanted to introduce myself.

i have been cross stitching since i was 10. lost the love for it through my teenage years and now im older and wiser (and a mum!) i have rekindled my love for it as a bit of 'me' time in the evenings.

I am currently working on this kit which i am in love with and finding it a pleasure to stitch. so anyway, thats me and where i am at the moment. i hope to be reading everyday and learning hints and tips. :)

    Hi ladies.
shelly - you are making me want to stitch a christmassy design lol.

Sorry about that :D I had to get started this early in the year because I have a few xmas designs I want to get done and we all know how slow I stitch!

    Love the ladybug, very cute.

Ailsb. Great that the bug has come back for you. Look forward to seeing the finished turtle.

mrsmp. I hate when they don't say on a chart how many you should have of each colour, makes sorting near identical shades very difficult. I lay them across my hands and go to a window, then I turn myself around in the light until I can make out which ones are different.
To anyone watching I must look mad....spinning around on the spot clutching a handful of thread :rotfl:
Whatever you choose to stitch next, I look forward to seeing progress pics :)

You're son is good! I just listened to a few of his mumford covers, nice.

Keza. Hi and welcome! The sampler you are stitching is lovely, look forward to seeing progress pics of it.

Ladies doing the wine word stitch. I googled to see what you meant about the mis-spelling, at first glance it does appear the I has been missed from the end of Australia but when I looked closely it seems the I has been put in with the L but it looks odd to me where they have put it. If there is room I would be tempted to stitch it next to the L and see how that looks, rather than where they have designed it.

Cross Stitch Crazy - July 2013

    free gift - fathers day

I like this, that's my daddy's card sorted.

    Nice but won't stitch it

    pretty petals

a fairy! cute but nuff said.

I like fairies but not flower fairies

    july monkey

    another cute one.

Adorable - DS2 will be pleased with this one for his picture, he wants to take up tennis coaching like his big brother but I'm making him wait till next year lol. Just thinking.....this pic might be more suited to June cos that's when Wimbledon is?

    Jenna-louise coleman

    who?!

She's now on Doctor Who but she started on Emmerdale playing Jasmine, the vicars niece who went to prison for killing a policeman who attacked her friend. (or something like that, it was a while back) :rotfl:Aside from that it could be a pic of any dark haired girl tbh

    50 summer fruits

I like these, not sure when I'd use them but would make good card motifs for thank you etcs.

Don't think I would stitch any of them

    Bundle of Joy

I realllly like these - just no excuse to stitch them.

Love these as well, might even make one and put it in the box to have for future use.

    graduation - subscriber extra

these are cute, now i need an excuse to stitch them.

I wish I knew someone I could stitch this for, the mice are very cute!

    stitchy hen do

    nope

Nope for me as well, don't see the point tbh

    sweet on you

LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!! but not sure some of them look like letters if you didn't know what they were supposed to be.

Yeah I see what you mean. My sis is a sweetie addict, she would appreciate this Looks like it would stitch up quick as well :D

    with love

    ermm - nah

    Nope

    exotic birds

I like these - again thank you cards or something maybe.

    Agreed

    in full bloom

as far as flowers goes it's pretty....... but not for me.

    Definitely not my thing

    mix and match

hmmm the jury is out on this one..... swaying towards yuck.

    I'm firmly at yuk :rotfl:

    sweet tooth

I like, but not sure I'd use them - i can see why you would with a little girl but not sure my boys would be too pleased.

Tho i might be able to make them into tooth pouches...................... (got a couple of years :) )

My DS2 would like the boy one, and I think the pouch idea is a good one.

    challange lucie

    i love the bug

None there that appeal to me
